Teaching aims and learning objectives教学目标:

(一)Knowledge aims知识目标:

1. 通过复习,能准确掌握want to be和want to do的区别,以及句型what do you want to be/do?及答句。

2. 通过复习,能熟练掌握句型Will you…?以及will引导的特殊疑问句,及其答句。

3. 通过复习,能准确使用I’m going to 句型。

4. 能运用How is the weather in …? What interesting places will we see in the city? What food will we eat in the city? 对某个城市的信息进行询问以及回答。

5. 通过复习和新授,能巩固著名景点所在国家、城市的信息。

(二)Skill aims能力目标

1. 能熟练运用“What do you want to be/do in the future?”及答句进行有关梦想职业的交流。

2. 能运用will进行一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的提问。

3. 能明确旅行前可以通过哪些途径进行信息了解,以及对某地进行哪些方面的提问。

4. 能抓住听力材料的关键信息补充城市信息卡片。

1. 通过复习,能熟练掌握句型Will you…?以及will引导的特殊疑问句,及其答句。

2. 能运用How is the weather in …? What interesting places will we see in the city? What food will we eat in the city? 对某个城市的信息进行询问以及回答。

3. 能小组合作介绍最喜爱城市的信息。

2.学生准备:完成自己最喜爱城市信息卡片。

Teaching procedures

教学过程:

Step1 Warm up 1. Sing a song < Be what you wanna to be> 2. Greeting

T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Suzanar.

T: Today, we’ll have a competition between boys and girls, are you ready? Ss: Yes. 【设计意图:通过齐唱有关“梦想职业”的歌曲,渲染课堂气氛。】

Step2 Free talk 1. Think and say T: Just now, we sang a song about “dreams”, do you have any dreams?

So please tell me, what do you want to be in the future, boys and girls?

S: I want to be a … I want to … (问4组

T-S1, T-S2, Ss-S3, Ss- S4) 2. Think and find T: Do you still remember my dream? S1: I want to be a cook. And I want to cook yummy food. T: In fact, I have another dream. I want to be a traveller. I want to travel the world. T: When should we use “nouns”? When should we use “Verbs”? S: 想做某种职业+be +名词,

想做某事+动词。

3. Think and guess

T: I think before I visit one place, I should know something about it.

If I want to know about this place, what will I do?

S1: Will you ask your e-friends?

S2: Will you read about this place on the Internet?

S3: Will you go to the library and look for books and magazines about it?

【设计意图:1.复习句型What do you want to be in the future? 2.再次巩固want to be和want to do的区别。3.复习will 引导一般疑问句,并回顾总结寻找有关一个地区信息的途径。】

Step3 Presentation 1. Look and match T: I think your ideas are great. But now I’ll read a travel book. And this is an e-book. Let’s open it,OK? The first page, oh, there’re so many interesting places, do you know them?

S: This is the Yellow Stone National Park and the Grand Canyon. T: Where are they? S: They are in the US. …

T: So can you introduce these places like these: You’ll find … in …? Ss: You’ll find the Yellow Stone National Park and the Grand Canyon in the US. …

【设计意图:1.通过欣赏图片的方式帮助学生回顾两个单元Culture time的主要景点,并进行国家的匹配。2.再次巩固You’ll find …in …句子。】

2. Watch and enjoy T: Now page 2. Here’s a video about a city. What city is it? Now let’s watch and enjoy! S1: It’s Rio in Brazil. T: And the 31st Olympic Games will be held in Rio this summer.

【设计意图:欣赏里约奥运宣传片,大致了解城

市风情。】

3. Discuss and ask T: I think this summer many people from all over the world will visit Rio, right?

Before they go to Rio, what should they know about this city? What questions will they ask?

You can discuss in 4. S: How is the weather in Rio?

What interesting places will we see in the city?

What food will we eat in the city?

T: Great!

So before we visit one place, we can ask questions about the weather, interesting places, food, the traffic, culture difference, event schedule, hotel and so on. 【设计意图:1.通过讨论明晰旅行前应该了解的信息,并进行简单归类。2.巩固操练will的特殊疑问句,并进行提问技能的训练。】

4. Read and find T: Now let’s turn to the next page, try to find out more about Rio, OK? S: It’s always very hot.

You’ll find Jesus Hill and Copacabana Beach.

You’ll eat sea food. 【设计意图:1.通过阅读寻找答案,训练学生的阅读能力。2.巩固will特殊疑问句及回答。】

Step4 Production 1. Remember and say

T: Rio is a great city, but I have not enough money and time to this city.

Are you going to Rio this summer holiday? This summer holiday, where are you going? Let’s remember and say.

S: I’m going to …

T: Where are they going this summer holiday?

S: They are going to ….

T: Oh, you really have a good memory. 【设计意图:1.谈论暑假计划,延续话题。2.巩固复习be going to句型。】

2. Listen and write

T: These city are very beautiful, but what is my favourite city. Now please listen, write and guess, what‘s my favourite city?

T: My favourite city is an old city. And the weather there in summer is hot and sunny. You’ll also eat a lot of yummy food there, like Biangbiang noodles and Chinese hamburger, we call it,Roujiamo. And the city is famous for Bingma Yong and Dayan Ta. So what city is it?

S: It is Xi’an. The weather is hot and sunny. We’ll see …

3. Ask and answer

T: Now let’s talk about your favourite city. You can ask and answer with your partner. 4. Make and show 1) Add a cover.

2) Make a travel book.

3) Show your book.

Step 6 Homework 1. Show your travel book to more students.

2. Choose three books which you like. 3.Think about why do people like travelling..
