Step I: Warming-up: Greet to students and review the words (boy, girl, Ms Smart, Mr Li) then sing two songs. Step II: Presentation: 1.Show the toy bird to teach the word “bird”, ask students to ask “what’s your name?” teacher answer “I’m tweet-tweet”. Then one student ask, one student answer: one group ask, one group answer. 2.Show the cards to teach the new words and stick all these

words on the blackboard. (check individual & groups) 3.Game: guess what’s the word behind teacher

Do action according to teacher’s order（stand up, sit down) with cards showing. Then ask students to 4.read after the teacher. * explain the words “please”

Chant: please stand up, stand up please

Please sit down, sit down please 5.Ask students to do more actions. Teacher gives the example first.( clap your hands, brush your teeth, wash your face, point to …), then teacher do action

& ask students to read the expressions. Chant & clap hands: window, window, point to the window; desk , desk, point to the desk chair, chair ,point to the chair…

Game: ask one student of each group point to something on the blackboard with teacher’s or students’ order.
