6B Unit 4 Road safety (story time) 一、学情分析

本单元围绕“行路安全”这一话题，呈现了若干行路规则和安全知识。旨在引导学生树立正确过马路的安全意识。六年级的学生，行路安全常识基本是有的，老师要以图片和视频的形式，让学生了解遵守行路规则的重要性。同时，在语法方面，通过can, should来进行迁移，对比学习must及mustn’t 的含义和用法。

1. 能听懂、会说、会读常用语及句型You must ...You must not ... 2. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇road ,must ,safe ,follow ,light

五、教学难点：

1. 情态动词must和mustn’t的用法。

2、能流利朗读课文Road safety，并复述课文。

七、Teaching procedures教学过程：

Step1 Pre-reading. 1.Greetings

2.Free talk a. Do you get up early every day?

Do you put your in order ?

Do you drink a lot of water?

Do you eat a lot of vegetables and fruit? Do you go to school by bus? How do you go to school? S: On foot./I walk to school. T: Me too. Most of us need to cross the road. How do you cross the road?

T: Boys and girls, what can you see in the picture? S1: I can see a lot of cars and buses. S2: I can see many people. S3: I can see some lights? T: Right. (Can you see the lights?学生说不出来时提示)They are traffic lights.

领读三遍。

Read and write.默读课文，完成填空。

T: When we are reading, we must get the key words or sentences. For example: you can underline the key word or sentences, then you can get the answer easily. 【设计意图】让学生带着问题去阅读，并学会获得如何从文章中，获取关键信息，从而解决问题的策略。
