The students are primary school students, mainly from rural areas. Their disadvantage is that they cannot contact with each other in English fluently. The pupils are shy to speak English. They didn’t have English learning environment, so they should listen more and practice more in class to improve the listening ability and their oral English level . 三、The key points and difficult points(教学重难点) :

1) Get the students to know more knowledge about the difference between Countable noun and Uncountable noun. 2) Get the students to be able to write down the steps to make their favourite food. First, ……

四、Teaching procedures (教学过程)：

第一学时：(Listening) 1.Warming up Lead-in： food VS drink (Team1 VS Team2) Countable noun. VS Uncountable noun.

What’s your favourite food? 2. Pre－listening 1)

Task one: Write down the food and drinks in the pictureA, and pay attention to the countable noun and the uncountable noun. 2)Task two: Predict the focus of listening and make sure the task of listening. 3. While－listening Task One: listen the first time about the whole passage to get the main idea about the conversation. Task Two: Listen the second time to write down the details about the conversation. Task Three: Listen the third time to complete the blanks. 4、Post-listening Task One: Check the answers.

第二学时(Speaking and Reading) 1) Let’s talk. Task 1. What do you have for breakfast\lunch\dinner? Do you like eggs\meat\juice…? What is your favourite food? Task 2 List your breakfast menu and work in groups to talk about whose breakfast menu is the reasonable. Let the students learn from each other , know the importance of eating a good breakfast and balance their diets. 2) Let’s read. 1) pre-reading

Task1: predict the content of the passage and make sure the reading tasks. Look at the pictures. What food do you see? What food do you think is being made? How is it made? 3)

While-reading Task1: Complete the task in C. Put the pictures into the right order. Task2: Let the students read and understand the steps to make the sandwich. Task3: Let the students pick out the new words and phrases and guess their meanings according to the pictures and the passage. 4)

Post-reading Task1: Check the answers.
