教学目标：

认知目标：掌握一些基本的动词短语：watch TV，read newspapers，look out the window，jump，cry等，会用日常交际用语进行交流What is __ doing now? -- He/She is _ing …

What are you doing now? -- I’m __ing …

What are they doing now? They’re __ing …理解now的含义及其用法。

技能目标: 能熟练运用现在进行时的问句和答句介绍你身边的朋友在做什么。

情感目标：通过唱歌，师生对话，参与游戏，情境表演等丰富多彩的教学活动，让学生充满乐趣的学习，培养学生的团队精神，教育学生学会细心观察,与他人合作和关心他人。

教学重点：通过一系列动作表演，鼓励学生用What are they doing now？等进行时态进行谈论交流。

教学难点：理解 now 的含义，使用单词 now 进行对话练习，表达出别人正在干什么，熟练的用英语进行交流。

教具准备：多媒体课件、录音机、课文配套磁带

教学过程

Step一. Greetings and review 1 Greetings: T: Hello,boys and girls. Nice to meet you. Are you ready for an English class? Sing a song：walking walking （CAI）

2 Review the words. 把全班分成两组Group girls, Group boys，每组

选出2名学生背对大屏幕，在全班同学的动作提示

下猜词，猜词多的一组获胜。

【设计意图：歌曲、游戏的运用，

是在调动学生学

习兴趣的同时，提高学生学习的主动性。】

Step二. Leading-in and listen 由猜词的最后一个图片引入：Who is this? What is she doing? Is she loud? (学生回答) 1. “Now I ‘ll show you more pictures.” Show some pictures to the class by ppt.(幻灯片)and present the sentences: 教学单词now 由cow到now，多种形式练读。

【设计意图：读单词时要采取多种形式朗读,并将单词放到有意义的情境中，让学生在运用词汇的过程中加深对词汇的理解，掌握其用法，提高语言实践能力，达到单词教学的真正目的。】

一对一的形式练习，教师边板书) 由What are they doing now? 引出What are you doing now? C: We’re looking and listening.（sitting）

2.处理课文

A.In this unit, Li Ming, his mother, Jenny and Danny travel by

train to Beijing. What are they doing now? Let’s look and listen! (播放课文CAI) B.Ok, What are Jenny,Li Ming and Danny doing on the train?” let’s listen again and read. （第二遍跟录音机读）

C Read in role. D.Now, you may know what they are doing. Please take out your paper and fill the chart. Fill the chart：（填表）

检查学生的完成情况，进行指导。

【设计意图：第一遍播放课文CAI，学生边看边听对课文有个初步的感知。第二遍跟录音机读，对课文的内容有了进一步了解，第三遍Read in role，熟知课文中人物的活动情况。为下一步的填表打下坚实的基础。】

D.Practice（填表后的练习）
