一、Teaching tools: Computer, recorder, prizes 二、Studying aims: １.To understand and act out the dialogue;

Words: way, follow, down, afraid, north, north-east, north-west, south-east, south-west

Expressions: Don’t be afraid.

Follow me! 四|、Teaching procedures:( 45 minutes) Step 1. Greetings Step2. Show the studying aims. Step3 Free talk Step4. Learning

Learn the different directions and practice “Where is…?”

“ It’s north of …”

Step 5. Speaking

Step6. Presentation

Present the drills: I go to… by bike. Step7.Speak up

The students make a dialogue as the model. Step 8. Listening

Listen to the tape and find the answer to the question:

Does Hobo really know the way?

Step 9. Listen and repeat Step 10. Reading

1.The students read the dialogue themselves and try to find any questions they don’t understand.
