Lesson 12 A Visit to the Great Wall

教学分析:

1、教材分析

本单元的主题是Travel in Beijing。教材为学生提供了Li Ming , Mrs. Li , Jenny and Danny 一起游览北京的天安门广场，故宫和长城，并且到王府井购物这些场景。帮助学生理解并掌握外出游玩和观赏时常用的英语表达方式。结合本课重点内容，我们应给学生创设游览和介绍长城这一情境，通过本课重点问题导入引导学生一起进入本课的学习。

2、学情分析

五年级学生经过对英语故事方法的学习，无论是在理解能力还是实际操作方面都具备了相当的水平，课上主要培养学生的阅读能力，增强学生理解和就故事内容进行问答的能力。根据不同层次的学生学习要求，激发学习兴趣，培养学生良好的故事学习方法和学习习惯。

教学目标

1、学生能听懂和理解这个简单的故事。

2、学生能就故事内容进行问答。

3、学生能向同学复述故事。

教学重难点

教学重点：介绍经常性动作的常用句式。

教学难点：一般现在时的具体用法。

教学过程

Step I .Greetings

T:Good afternoon

boys and girls . Game time: I say you do(我说你做)来激发学生的积极性，让每一个学生参与进来。

(当学生坐好以后，让他们尽可能多的回忆关于北京的内容)

Ask and answer：

What is it？

It’s a map of China. Where is it? It’s Beijing. There are many famous places in Beijing, yes or no? Where is it? It’s Tian’anmen Square, the Palace Museum, Wangfujing Street and the Great Wall. Step II.Story.

1. Pre -reading.

This lesson we will learn a story

: A visit to the Great Wall(师板书课题，学生跟着老师写课题)。

2.While-reading.

(1)Talk about the pictures and read after the tape. According to each picture, there are several questions. Such as: How, Who, Where... What’s the meaning of “ the Ten-Thousand-li Great Wall”? What’s the meaning of the Chinese saying?

What does Danny want to do? What does Li Ming say? What do you see in the picture1?

Where are they now in the picture2?

What do they learn now in the picture3?

T：In China , people say that you must visit the Great Wall is you wish to be known as a true man. Danny feels he is a true man now. He is visiting the Great Wall. He wants to write his name on the Great Wall. Li Ming is upset. He tells Danny not to draw or write on the Great Wall .Why? Because it is everyone’s responsibility to keep the Great Wall clean and beautiful.

(2)Listen to the story carefully. Listen and read again.

最后找学生轮流读这个故事，直到所有内容都读完。

3. Post-reading.

Role play.

Divide the class into groups, three students in a group . Each group will practice the story and present it to the rest of the class.

Step III.

Homework: Talk the story to your friends. Write signs such as：Don’t...Please... Class is over. Stand up! Good bye,boys and girls. 板书设计
