Unit4 Transportation Part A 教学设计

1．整体设计思路、指导依据说明

针对教材特点和四年级学生实际情况，充分利用多媒体的音乐，动画，图像，文字等丰富的网络资源为其提供强大的交互功能，提高学习效率，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。根据《英语课程标准》，在教授词组以及相关句型时，运用了情境教学法，游戏法，引导发现法，设置了情景来自Sally的一封关于交通工具的电子邮件（An E-mail From Sally），将文本加以整合，让学生融入情境中学习本课内容，同时设计了各项课堂活动让同学们结合自己真实情况谈谈现在自己和朋友们如何去上学，让学生有话可说，敢于说，乐于说英语，能将所学的内容充分运用于现实生活情景中。

2．教学背景分析

教学内容分析：

本课的教学内容是闽教版小学英语四年级下册Unit 4 Transportation Part A。本人结合教材，将本课整合成主题为An E-mail From Sally的一节课，主要让学生学习掌握有关交通工具类词组by bike/car/school bus、句型How do you go to school?和How does…go to school?即谈论自己和他人如何去学校。本课的内容贴近学生的实际生活，将学生置于自己的日常生活情景中，使学生自然而然地把语言技能发展成运用语言的交际能力，为本单元的学习打下坚实的基础，同时培养学生遵守交通规则的好习惯。

学生情况分析：

四年级的学生已经有一年的英语学习基础，对英语学习都有很大的兴趣，也掌握了相当一部分单词，但是由于很多学生课后不能及时去复习，学生主动学习的积极性不高。对于本节课涉及到的交通工具类的单词大部分在四年级上册学***部分学生掌握较好，而how do you…这个句型也有接触过，加上本课情景更加生活化，所以本节课的话题让学生觉得会更想开口说，有话说。

1.学习单词school bus和词组by car/bike/school bus，on foot并懂得运用。

2.能在口语交际和书面运用中表达自己或他人出行时的交通方式。

4．教学重点、难点分析

教学重点：by+交通工具的英语表达；掌握及运用句型How do/does …go to school？--I go to school…和She/he goes to school…

教学难点：词组on foot与by bus/car…的不同表达，掌握及运用句型How does she/he/Kate go to school…?—She /He goes to school…中第三人单数does 和goes的运用。

5．教学过程设计

Step 1 Greetings & warming up 1. Greetings T: Hello, boys and girls! You can call me Tina. Nice to meet you! Ss: Hello! Tina. Nice to meet you, too. 2.Sing an English song: My Little Bicycle 设计意图：通过师生问好，唱英文歌曲的方式激发学生的学习兴趣，集中学生的注意力。

Step 2 Lead-in 1. Lead in theme T: Bicycle is one kind of the transportation, so today we will talk about “Unit 4 Transportation”(板书). And look, car, bus, bike(贴上小汽车，公共汽车，自行车的图片) are ways of transportation. Do you know “Transportation”, what’s the meaning? Ss: 交通工具

2. Lead in topic T: My friend Sally is in the new school now. She sent me an E-mail, but this morning I get to your school very early. I’m so busy that I have no time to check it. Now let’s read it together！Ok？（在Transportation后面板书并说出话题

Dear Tina,

How are you? I am Sally. I’m in the new school now. It is very nice.

Now I go to school by car. My new friend Wang Tao goes to school by school bus. Kate is seven now. She goes to school on foot. How do you go to school?

Welcome to my new school. Bye！

Yours, Sally 设计意图：复习交通工具类单词bus, car, bike，并设置情境Sally的一封关于交通工具的E-mail，导入主题An E-mail From Sally.为本课新内容的教学打下基础。

导入：T: We know Sally goes to school by car. But I don’t have a car. So I go to school on foot. And “How do you go to school?”(ask one student)

S: By car. / On foot.……

T: Wonderful! You can say “I go to school by…”(板书并教授) 操练：T问2Ss, Ss根据自身的情况回答。提问第三个学生时，第三个学生回答，其他学生注意T如何问并try to repeat. T: Who can repeat? S1: How do you go to school?(导入问句) 输出

How do you go to school? T: Great！

You can ask your friend “how do you go to school?”

3.Which words or phrases do you remember? 总结单词词组by +交通工具，on foot,

4.Sing a song. 设计意图：回顾总结本节课内容，利用课堂板书，E-mail, 和包含本节课内容的英文改编歌曲进行复习总结，巩固所学。

Step 5 Homework 1.Listen to the tape and read the text. 2.Write an E-mail about transportation to your good friends. 设计意图：将听说读写融入于作业中，如听课文朗读带并跟读，给家长唱英文歌曲，，给好朋友写一封关于交通工具的电子邮件，这些都有利于学生巩固所学，并且将其运用于实际生活中。
