Teaching procedures: Step 1 Guessing game Guessing animals. This step aims to review : snow leopard and black rhino. Step 2 Presentation 

Teach the word panda. Get the pupils to describe panda. Then ask the pupils to listen and learn about panda, trying to find out information about panda,

What does it eat? Do people love pandas? Are they in danger?



Answer the questions , and teach “bamboo, around the world, Let’s join in to help the pandas.” at the same time. Step 3 Reading

Step 4 Presentation Teach “South China Tiger”. Ask the questions: Where did the South China Tiger live many years ago ?

Where can we see the South China Tigers now? Why ?

Help the pupils to answer , and teach ”lived in many parts of China, save China’s Tigers”

at the same time.

Step 5. Practice Pupils to read the poster together. Then write another poster about South China Tiger.

Step 6 Extension 

Tell the pupils there are some other animals in danger. Ask the pupils to watch the video, trying to find out what other animals .are in danger ? (Asia elephant, bear and the turtle.) Tell the pupils to remember: When the buying stops, the killing can, too. 

Then show a picture of Asia Elephant killed by people. Point out that People kill it for

the teeth. Cultivate the pupils’ love for animals, saying “Don’t kill elephants”

“No buying, no killing.”

Step 7 Writing IAsk the pupils to make a poster about protecting Asia Elephant. Then choose some of the pupils to share their posters.
