Halloween is a traditional western holiday. It is on the 31st of October. At Halloween, there are jack-o’-lanters everywhere.

People often eat pumpkin pies and pumpkin bread . Because they are special Halloween food. They are very sweet.

Many people have ’fancy-dress’ parties. They dress up costumes and wear masks. They dress like animals, monsters and famous people. Children

want to dress like skeletons, witches, goblins .How

interesting! At the fancy-dress party, I want to dress like ….How…!

Children like Halloween very much. They go ‘trick-or-treating’ in the evening . They knock on people’s doors and ask, ‘Trick or treat ?’ People must give the children sweets or chocolate, or the children play a trick on them!
