知识目标：

1.在故事阅读的过程中学习并掌握以下词汇和短语的发音与含义：

3能运用一般现在时等相关句型简单描述一个故事. 能力目标：

1. 通过视听和阅读，能整体感知故事的主要内容和所表达信息。

通过语篇学习，能根据提示语言，复述故事《the giant’s garden》. 4. 在语篇学习的过程中，培养学生收集信息、提取信息，并利用信息进行语段表达的能力。

1. 教材分析

本单元是牛津教材5BModule4Unit3的教学内容，单元教学主题为story，从一年级开始在每一年学期结束的最后一课都是以故事作为结束单元，故事对激发学生兴趣有非常大的作用，他们不仅能够从中享受到学习英语的乐趣，还能从故事中了解到做人的道理。本课的主要内容是通过故事“the giant’s garden”的学习了解和学会分享一切美好事物的精神。这个故事是前面四年的基础上的一个质的升华。在本堂课中，学生在听，读和学习故事的过程中能够掌握核心和拓展词汇：giant castle selfish, 能运用一般现在时表达描述发生的事情和事情的发生状态。在故事的学习和朗读中，让学生能够理解故事的大意，学会用正确的语音、合适的语调简单复述故事。享受故事的学习过程，了解故事所带给我们的人生哲理。

2. 学生分析

知识基础：学生通过近五年的英语学***部分的学生已有一定的词汇句型知识基

础，敢于大胆地用英语表达和交流，大部分学生有自主学生，小组讨论交流的能力，但是仍然有少部分学生的英语基础比较薄弱，不敢开口，比较羞涩。学生在短文阅读方面比较薄弱，在英语短片阅读中不知道如何去寻找关键的词汇，掌握重要的信息，因此故事学习也是一种提高他们阅读能力一种非常好的方式，因为学生对故事比较感兴趣，这样在心理上就少了一份学习障碍。

能力基础：

本班大部分学生对英语学习兴趣还是很浓厚，语言表述较为清晰，对课堂上遇到的问题能进行质疑，乐于求知，善于学习，但是课堂上学生的操练面还不够广，部分学生不敢开口。因此，我在教学中将尽量创设让学生感兴趣的情景，通过pair work, group work等学习形式，让所有学生共同参与学习，在合作中学习语言知识，提升语用能力。

困难分析：

这个故事总体来看虽然不难，但是比较长，学生对故事的复述能力还是比较薄弱的，因此在最后

一个输出的过程学生可能会感觉比较吃力，需要老师进行引导。

After that, the giant builds a tall wall all around the garden and puts up a sign, the sign says ”Keep out!”. The children cannot play in this garden.

It is spring again. Miss spring arrives. She brings us beautiful flowers and birds. But she sees the sign on the giant’s castle. It says” Keep out!”. So she does not go there. The giant looks at his garden. There is snow everywhere. The giant feels very cold and sad. He says:” Why does Miss Spring not come this year?” Then, Miss Summer and Miss Autumn do not come the castle either. It is always winter in the giant’s garden.

One morning, the giant gets up and hears some lovely sounds form his garden. He smells the flowers too. “Spring is here at last!” He thinks. The giant is happy and looks out of the window. He sees some children. They get in the garden through a hole in the wall. They bring Miss Spring into his garden, he feels happy and says to the children.” Let me break down the wall. You can play in my garden forever and ever.” From then on, Miss Spring, Miss Summer and Miss Autumn never come late again
