出示钟表和Jack早上起床的活动图（师问生答），先做示范，然后生生练习。

T: What does Jack do at seven o’clock?

对子操练。（生生练习），教师出示钟表和Jack 一天的活动图。

S1: What does Jack do at a quarter past seven? S2: He gets brushes his teeth at a quarter past seven. S3: What does Jack do at half past seven? S4: He has breakfast at half past seven. S5: What does Jack do at half past eleven? S6: He has a lunch break at a half past eleven. S7: What does Jack do at half past six in the afternoon? S8: He and his family members have dinner together at half past in the afternoon.

听录音（两遍），在具体的活动图片下面写出具体时间（用阿拉伯数字表达）。创设语境：Betty和Charlie在儿童节这一天的活动及活动的具体时间。（听两遍后校对）

录音内容：

Today is Children’s Day. Betty and Charlie are very happy.

In the morning, they plant flowers at ten past eight and read books at ten to ten. After that they have lunch at twenty-five 呈现新课

出示钟表，根据以往时间表达的学习，讨论什么时候用past,什么时候用to,然后练习。（拓展延伸：在学习了整点o’clock，半点钟half past，几点过了一刻钟a quarter past…，几点差一刻钟a quarter to…，这些时间表达之后，教师又进一步引申，让学生自己讨论并总结什么时候用past，什么时候用to，为学生进一步学习时间的表达打下了坚实的基础。）（总结：半点钟之

前用past“过了”的意思,半点钟之后用to“差”的意思。）

3.教师再次出示Betty 和Charlie在儿童节这一天的活动图和时间点，在之前练习的基础上，让学生完整的描述图片，同时梳理故事的顺序。（对应的时间和图片进行连线）
