一、教材分析：

本课是《新标准英语》教材（三年级起点）第五册第三模块第二单元的内容。本课的主题是让学生学会谈论过去发生的事情，能对过去发生的事情做一个简单的描述，这单元的内容涉及到的语法是一般过去时。本单元给出图片的是大明和他的爸爸在过去的某一时段里参观长城的情景，所给的课文内容就是对这个图片的描述。通过看图片，找动词短语及过去式，听录音及说句型等活动，运用信息技术，帮助学生掌握并学会如何来描述过去发生的行为。

二、学情分析: 本课的教学对象是五年级的学生，学生的单词积累已经达到了一定的水平，能够说一些简单的句子，他们的好奇心强，敢于和别人进行口语交际，并且他们比较好动，擅长模仿，游戏，对比赛式的学习比较感兴趣。学生在学习本课前应具备以下技能：

（1）、能收集一些常用动词的过去式，如：go—went do—did （2）、能收集一些简单的动词短语。

（3）、能听懂一些简单的问句,例如： What did you do at the weekend? Where did you go at the weekend? 三、教学目标：

1、知识目标：会说the Great wall, at the weekend, by bus, took photos of, at…o’clock, in the morning.，能理解课文并且准确认读。

2.技能目标：能运用动词过去式对过去发生的事情做简单的描述。

3．情感目标：在学习中培养学生的协作精神和竞争意识，培养学生热爱学习，热爱生活的情感态度。

四、教学重难点: 1．教学重点：the Great wall, at the weekend, by bus, took photos of, at…o’clock, in the morning.的认读。

2．教学难点：用所学内容描绘一下自己的一次旅行。

五、教法与学法

通过看、听、读、说、练、唱等方法，利用同桌讨论，小组合作等方式让学生更好的掌握本课教学点。 六、教学用具：

课件，教学图片，自制单词卡。

七、教学步骤：

Step 1: Greeting. T: Hello, boys and girls. T: How are you? Step 2: Warm-up T: Are you happy? T: Let’ s say and do together. 师生齐说:Happy, happy, happy I am happy. Happy, happy, happy I am happy.并拍掌. Step 3.Introduce new lesseon. 1.(引出长城) T: Are you ready? Let’s go! (播放幻灯片: <<长城长>>歌曲) T: What can you see in this song? (引出长城,并复习: The Great Wall is long/ old.) 2.导入课文. T: Do you want to go to the Great Wall? T: One of our friend has been there. Who is he? (播放课文录音材料) T: Who has been there?(引导学生说出Daming) Step 4.Come into the new text. 1.
