Students can make the appositive clause themselves. Ability aims: Students can identify the appositive clause Students can use this kind of clause into their writing or speaking. Emotional aims: Improve students’ confidence of learning English, and not afraid of speaking English;

Encourage students to cooperate with others actively, and complete the tasks together. Analyse the teaching material: The grammar point in this unit is to revise the appositive. As the appositive and the appositive clause occupy very few parts in exam, spending too much time on memorizing the grammar rules will make students feel bored and be less interested in English. Hence, it is very important to consider students’ needs and interests.Recently, a famous Marvel film named Avengers: Infinity War has been released in China and attracted much attention. It is said that many Senior students are crazy about this film. Based on this, teacher tried her own best to connect this film with this grammar point, aiming to attract students’ learning interests.What’s most important is to help students apply this grammar into daily life. The whole class is focus on the practical usage of English, but not grammar rules.The core of this class is that learning by using. Analyse the students: These students come from Grade2, and they knew this grammar point in Grade 1. However, students in class8 are poor in English, and students’ English level ranks the

last among all classes. The atmosphere in this class is very quite and less active, and some of students are very shy and quite What’s more, with the weather getting hotter and hotter, students lack of learning motivation and also are sleepy in class.Hence, it is necessary to choose the topic related to their daily life, and all the exercise are focus on their interests.

Teaching Key Points:

Students can get the sentence structure and its meaning of each sentence, and can induct the rules of the functions of grammar. How to help students to use appositive clause to write a passage.

Use the appositive clause in proper situations; Students know how to make sentences themselves by using the appositive. Teaching Methods:

Teaching Procedures:

Step 1 Warming-up Teacher have free-talk with students at first,and talk with them about the popular film Avengers3: Infinity War released in recent days. At the same time, show some pictures and give short introduction to this film. As not all of students has seen this film, it is very necessary and interesting to release a short video for them . 【Aim: To get students’ attraction, and help them have a general feeling about noun clause 】

Step 2

Lead-in Show some sentences that the words teacher just said on the PPT, and ask students to discuss what kind of noun clause is it. 1.The topic of this film is how a group of super heroes save the world. 2.It is said that this film has attracted much attention from all over the world, including China.

3.I would like to know which your favorite super hero is. 4.As for me, the fact that many Chinese people are crazy about this film surprised me. 【Aim: To help students review the other noun clauses,and introduce the task in this class】

Step 3

Presentation(Read and find)

1. The fact that we don’t get enough sleep is absolutely true. 2.We all know the truth that nothing is more important than health. 3.We will discuss the problem whether the sports meeting be held on time .

4.He got the news from Mary that the sports meeting was put off. Summary:同位语从句是指在复合句中,跟在一个名词后对其做进一步的解释说明,作同位语的从句. Summary2:被解释说明的名词通常为抽象名词, 如

hope, wish, order,belief, truth, theory, decision, conclusion,information，promise, plan。

Summary3: 从属连词：that, whether 连接代词：what, who, whom, whose, which 连接副词：

Other elements as the appositive 1.Some super heroes, such as the Spider man and Captain American, are very popular among young people. 2. I myself can finish the task. 3.Megan, an American actress , got married with the prince of UK last week. 4.Tuyouyou, a famous scientist, won the Nobel Prize in 2015. Give students some sentences and ask them to think about the function of these words. 【Aim: Help students understand that the function of the appositive is to explain and supplement the noun.】

After they finished, ask students to have a summary.

同位语是句子成分的一种，它位于名词代词后面，解释说明他们的性质和特点，除了从句以外，也可以由名词性短语，名词，代词充当。

Step5

Join two sentences into the appositive clause 【Aim:help students use the appositive clause properly.】

Teacher will set an example at first, and then ask students to have more exercises. Example1:

黄海宇是我们的班长，他擅长足球。

Ask a student to translate this, and give comments. Student may translate like this: Huang Haiyu is our monitor, and he his good at basketball. Then teacher give students another answer, and explain to them that we can make sentences by using the appositive and the appositive clause. Huang Haiyu, our monitor, is good at basket ball.(名词性短语作同位语) Example2: Mr.Xiao holds an opinion.

The opinion is that safety education is very important. Ask students to think about how to join the two sentences together. Teacher can lead student to think like this :what’s the opinion, and ask them to find the noun first, and then try to find the clause that explain or supplement the noun. Mr.Xiao holds an opinion that safety education is very important.(从句作同位语) After finishing the two examples, ask students to do more practices by themselves.

Step6 Oral Practise

Ask students to make sentences by using the appositive or the appositive clause to describe their friends. Students should speak out English as much as possible, even simple sentences. 【Aim:Ask students to practise their oral English, and

Step7 Let’s challenge ourselves. 【Aim: Students already have learned the noun clause,and it is time for students write some sentences themselves】

Write a short passage about Steven Hawking by using the appositive clause. Ask students to read the requirements at first,and think about how to write. Some difficult words and expressions are provided for students to refer to. After writing, self-check and peer-check are done in class. At last, ask few students to show their writing, and teacher check it at the same time. Ask student read teacher’s translation together.

Self-reflection As a green hand with less a year teaching experience, it is not easy for me to design such teaching plan. Thanks to my tutor Yang Yaru and other teachers, I did a good job. After the class, I made a profound self-reflection. 本节课的主要教学目标是复习同位语，同时让学生能够把同位语以及同位语从句应用到生活中，整节课通过朗读感知，发现规律，总结规律，练习应用这几个主要环节达到教学目标。本节课的教学理念是在感知中发现，在应用中学习。总体上，本节课达到了既定教学目标，学生掌握了同位语和同位语从句的相关概念，并能应用于写作和口语表达中，教学效果良好。课后，我对本节课进行了深刻反思，有以下总结：

本节课的亮点：

1.

本节课设计理念符合新课改理念。英语课改的重点是改变英语课堂过分重视语法和词汇知识讲解，倡导体会参与，合作与交流的学习方式和任务型教学途径，综合发展学生的语言与用潜力。

2.

教学中体现了英语学科核心素养。本节课围绕着包括语言能力、思维品质、文化品格和学习能力在内的四个维度进行设计，将枯燥的语法教学同目前最火爆的电影复仇者联盟3结合在一起，贴近学生的生活，导入新颖有趣，也让学生感受到美国好莱坞电影文化。在练习环节，设计的句子均和学生的生活息息相关，小写作以霍金为话题写小短文，时效性强，体现了核心素养中对学生学习能力和思维品质的锻炼。另外，课堂营造出让学生切身使用英语的氛围，本节课也营造了良好的参与环境，宽松、和谐、融洽、平等的学习氛围。

教学设计层层相扣，教学任务难度逐步递增，遵循循序渐近的原则，把任务建筑在学生的注意力和兴趣之上，服务于全面提高学生素质水平的目标需要，启发引导，激活学生的思维欲望，帮忙学生认知和理解每一步都是在为最后的写作应用进行铺垫，为学生搭建脚手架，符合建构主义教学设计理念，也符合学生的学习心理特征与规律。 4.

练习与写作中的句子均是个人花费时间独立设计完成，每个任务的设计都从学生角度出发，以生为本。在设计中既重视掌握语言知识和运用语言潜力目标的完成，又重视情意目标的实现，句子内容既包含了语言学习的内容，同时也潜移默化对学生进行情感价值观教育，教导学生要积极向上，面对困难勇往直前。

教学活动设计多样，有个人问答环节，也有小组合作和同桌合作，在写作环节中有自评和互评环节。整体学生参与度较好，比之前有所进步。

本节课存在的问题：

1.

由于教学经验缺乏，在课堂提问环节中，被提问的群体分布不均，后进生提问的次数较少。

2.

板书设计不美观，在最后写作呈现环节，没有预料到一个学生个头低，写的句子靠下，导致后面同学写得时候空间狭小，最后整体看着不美观。

3.

作为新手教师，在公开课教学中稍有紧张，个别环节中语速有点快，指令语不够简洁明了。

4.

有点低估个别学生。由于授课班级属于年级的末班，学生整体英语水平较差，因此在设计中任务比较简单，每个环节的难度系数差异不是很大。但是

在教学实施环节中，个别学生的表现远远高于预期，表现十分出色，任务完成较好。应该多增加几个与话题有关的口语对话环节，让学生更能自由表达。

对于存在问题，应采用的解决方法/教训：

1.

备好学生很关键，尤其在提问中，应该扩大提问群体，简单问题后进生回答，有难度的问题优等生回答，尽量让每位学生都参与到课堂中，要树立学生主体意识，激发学生学习兴趣，牢记新课改理念，多研究学生，让每位学生对体会到英语学习的乐趣。

板书设计应该提前有所准备，一定要考虑到意料之外的情况，并且能机智应对。板书设计应该清晰流畅，整洁，这在以后的课堂教学中一定要加以关注。

3.

学会调整心态，不论什么类型的课，在上课时要保持沉着冷静，切勿紧张，多参加讲评课活动，多磨练自己。同时，在平时上课时，注意自己的语速以及语言表达，英语表达要简洁明了，语速适中，语调有抑扬顿挫。

4.

教学中应该相信学生，即使是末班的学生，也应该给与学生更多的机会去参与尝试，适度提升教学进度与难度，不能对学生的教学千篇一律，而应该针对不同学生群体差异化教学。

5.

教学有法，教无定法。教学是一条没有止境的路，需要带着谦卑之心向他人学习，需要带着无限勇气去尝试新的方法与理念，需要带着爱与耐心去践行开阔。

最后，感谢我的师父杨亚茹以及全体英语组成员对我的帮助与指导，没有他们的帮助，我可能不会获得这么多的成长。感谢我的学生，他们单纯善良的心，求知若渴的眼神是我不断进取探索的动力。作为一个刚毕业一年的青年教师，需要更多的磨练和指导，需要学习的东西非常多，面对的困难也很多，但是既然选择了，那就要全力以赴，风雨兼程，继续努力奋进！
