Micro Teaching Plan for verb-ed form used as adverbial 庾艳芬

Dongguan Experimental High School 2015/1/10 Teaching Aims: 1. Introduce the concept of “Verb-ed form” as adverbial. 2. Guide students to rewrite the adverbial clauses with the verb-ed form phrases.

Important points: Help students develop the habit of using verb-ed form as adverbial.

Difficult points: Help students understand how to rewrite the adverbial clauses with the verb-ed form phrases.

Teaching procedures: (1) Leading-in: Students try to describe the videos with three sentences which are using the verb-ed form as adverbial. With the help of the teacher, students enable to find out the concept of verb-ed form used as adverbial. (2) Practice: In sentences pattern transformation, teacher instructs the students to rewrite the adverbial clauses with verb-ed form phrases. With the practice, students enable to find out how to rewrite the sentences as well as the usage of verb-ed form. (3) Conclusion: Finally, after rewriting the sentences, students will realize the grammar and usage of verb-ed form as adverbial.

They can draw two conclusions after the practice.

教学反思（微反思）

Self-reflection: I have studied some grammar books, in addition to watching some video clips about learning “verb-ed form as adverbial” on web. I have a general idea about what it is. Since it was the first time I have made a micro-course, I wanted to make it entertaining and more interactive. So I decided to get some videos and interesting pictures in my presentation, which can leave a deep impression on the students. The only pity lies in the PPT was that I was not good at the recording. I should have spent more time designing it.
