Lesson Planning Teaching objectives: ★Language objectives: The students will be able to 1)Know about what the present simple tense is 2)Get a general understanding of the forms of present simple tense 3)Read sentences aloud with the present simple tense ★Skill objectives: The students will be able to 1)Master how to fill in the blanks with present simple tense 2)Make sentences with the present simple tense 3)Describe their favorite season by using the present simple tense ★Emotional objectives: At the end of the class,students are supposed to 1)Establish a cooperative and friendly relationship through group work 2)Inspire to love English class. Teaching contents: Grammar of Book 1,Module 1, My First Day at Senior High This part is about the revision of the present simple tense. After finishing reading part of Module 1,the students are expected to understand the basic form of this tense.And in this class, the teacher will guide the students to revise this tense by telling a story about Tom.This lesson is about grammar,which plays an important part in this module,because in senior English teaching, particular emphasis should be laid on the basic forms of each grammar. Priorities: Assist the students to

make sense of the present simple tense and encourage the students to write a composition of their favorite seasons by using this tense. Difficulties in teaching Enable the students to get the gist of the present simple tense, tell a story with this

Teaching Procedure Step I Lead-in Introduce a cute boy who is the main character of the story, under the background of his daily life, we begin to study the grammar of present simple tense. Step II Realizing and Perceiving Every PPT has one picture and one sentence to enable the students to fill in the blanks at once, and combined every sentence together, it’s the story of Tom’s school life.
