Lesson Plan of Unit 5 Do you have a soccer ball ?

第二课时

一．教材分析：In this Unit students learn to talk about ownership. In this period students learn grammar focus.

二．教学目标：1.Language aims:Consolidate the target language learned in the last period. 2.

Ability aims: Master the use of do and does. Develop students’ speaking

and writing skills. 3.

Emotion aims:Make use of the students’ love for sports to bring out the

best in my pupils to study English. Try to cultivate students’

team spirit. 三．教学重难点：

Important points: 1.Summarize the general questions about “have”,

pay attention to the use of “do”/”does”.

Understand and master persons and numbers in English sentences. Let students remember the third person singular. Difficult points:

四．教学过程:

Step 1Preparation

（1）Sing a song.

Let’s revise some balls. There is a song for students.

Finger family :

I divide them into two groups. Try to sing the finger family

each other . The winner is the one who finish them tidily. (2) Quick eyes.

Show some pictures quickly ,students see them and say the word quickly .who is the fastest. (3) Pattern Practice (10’) First , look at the pictures and say the words, and then practice the sentences .

T : Do you have a soccer ball? Ss : Yes, I do. Girls: Do you have a basketball? Boys: Yes, I do. Boys: Do you have a baseball? Girls: Yes, I do. Ss: Do you have a baseball bat? T：No, I don’t. (4) Oral practice (13’)

First, one student and I practise the dialogue

the first time. Other Students only listen.Then I divide them into six groups. Each group practice the dialogue like me.At last, I ask two groups to act it out.

T : Do you have a/an …？

S: Yes, I do. / No , I don’t.

T : Does he / she have a / an ….

Ss :Yes, he/she does. / No, he/she doesn’t.

Chant.Review the ball nouns and the declaratve sentences about “have” through chant. (2)

Translate . Translate the sentences in grammar focus orally,lead to the grammar focus in this unit,pay attention to the red words. (3)
