1.教材分析：

这是七年级英语下册第六单元的内容，本单元主题是让学生谈论“人们正在进行的事情”，学生将学习一个重要的时态：现在进行时。本单元设计共为六个课时，本次设计为本单元第一课时，新学动词词组较多，重点在于学习现在进行时结构“be+v-ing”并对其进行运用。

2.学情分析：

该阶段学生单词积累已经到一定的基础水平，但是由于本单元新的动词词组较多，对于学生而言还是有中等的难度。此外，学生第一次接触新的时态，可能理解上存在困难，教师在进行一般现在时到现在进行时转换时可多进行操练。

二、教学目标：

1. 知识目标：

(1)重点单词: use, clean, wash, watch, read, talk, listen, make, exercise, newspaper, soup. (2)重点短语：watching TV, reading a newspaper, talking on the phone, listening to a CD, using the computer, making soup, washing the dishes.

(3)重点句型：

①——What are you doing? ——I’ m watching TV.

②——What is he doing? ——He is using the computer. 2.技能目标：

初步掌握第31页的生词和句型；

3.情感目标：

1、教学重点：现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确地描述和表达正在发生的动作。

2、教学难点：能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配。
