一、教学内容

外研社Join in英语五下Unit2. Life in the Arctic(Part 3).具体内容是一段关于polar bear北极熊的趣味英语说唱。

二、学情分析

通过前一个科室的学习，学生对于本单元主题北极生活有一定了解，并对该话题充满兴趣。知识能力方面，学生已有一定的英语基础，能听说读写简单的英语单词和句型；但对英语的实际应用和拓展有一定困难，同时极少数学生仍然有不乐于大单开口说英语的不良习惯。关注学生参与度百分百。

三、教学目标

1. 知识目标：掌握本课重点单词及短语polar bear, over there, across, through, hare, hill, lake等，动词短句jump in the water, swim across the lake, walk through the snow, run up the hill和句型What’s he doing over there? He wants to catch a hare.

2. 能力目标：做到能听懂并会读本课重点单词短语，并最终会说唱本课chant。

3. 情感目标：是学生了解北极生活并渗透保护珍稀动物，爱护地球的意识。

四、教学方法

TPR全身运动反应法，TBT任务型教学法，小组合作/结对合作。

六、教学流程

Step 1. Warm up复习热身

1）Greetings 2）Chant

Sit , sit, sit like a dog. Fly, fly, fly like a bird. Jump, jump, jump like a rabbit. Swim, swim, swim like a fish. Walk, walk, walk like a cat. Run, run, run like a tiger. {设计意图：通过动作chant，回忆动作单词jump,swim,walk,run, 同时活跃课堂气氛，激发学习兴趣}

Step 2. Lead in积趣导入

T：Let’s watch a video about Arctic animal !

T：Life in the Arctic is very interesting, and there are so many animals like polar bears, arctic hares, snowy owls, seals ...

T: Do you like them ?

Ss: Yes!

T: OK. Today let’s meet a polar bear !

建立评价场景：男女生分别一个北极熊头像，进行小组PK。

下发任务单，小组合作改编Chant, 并上台表演，小组互评。

Step 6. Homework作业设计

熟读韵律诗并表演给家长看; 记单词polar bear, lake, snow, hill . {设计意图：课下巩固知识，熟能生巧}
