本单元是以闲暇时光展开的话题内容，掌握闲暇时光活动的单词及短语,并在语教材分析

境中运用所学会做和不会做某事进行表达，教师要设计情景，让学生在情景中巩固。 1.

知识目标

能听，说，认读图片和单词 draw, sing, dance, read, swim, play football, play basketball, play the guitar,ride a horse, stand on my head，了解闲行为目标

暇时光Toby做的活动，并能使用句型 I can ...表达自己会做的事情。

2，能力目标

能大胆地用英语表达自己会做的事情，达到交流的目的，能根据动作或图片说出闲

暇时光的活动。

Step 1：Free talk & Revision T: Good morning boys and girls! S: Good morning teacher! T: Here I have some videos for you. Please watch carefully and tell me what you see. 二、聚焦核心，引入新知。

Step 2：Lead-in 1.Show pictures appeared in the video. Read it together: dance, sing, read, swim,draw.

T:What are they? (Ss: Sports, actions...) T:They are free time activities. Learn the phrase: free time. T can explain it in Chinese or give some examples. E.g. Weekends, summer/winter holiday, the time after school,the time you can do whatever you want. Make sure Ss know the meaning of “free time”. 三、研究结构，自主体验。

Step 3：presentation: 1.T: What do you often do in your free time? Can you ...? Show these pictures again: draw, sing, read, swim, dance. Read and do the action. 2．Show other pictures: play basketball, play football then play the guitar.Encourage Ss to point out the difference between them. play+球类； play the+乐器

5.Play a game: I say, you do. ①T says the new words/phrases, Ss do the action together. ②Choose several Ss to do as T says. ③Ask some Ss to say, others do. ④Play the game with your partner. 四、使用结构，延伸体验。

Step 4： practice 1.Read the words, point at the pictures. 2.T: Here are many free time activities, I can play the piano. I can fly a kite. I can sing... What about you? What can you do? Use I can... To express ① Interview some Ss, they answer with I can... ② Pairwork: ask your partner A: What can you do？

B: I can ... 3.Look at P38,listen and number, then check the answer. 4.Point and read: ①point and read by yourself.② I point, you read. Conclusion: Toby says he is a superstar. So what is a superstar?
