一、教材分析
本课教材为外研社《英语》(新标准)(三年级起点)六年级下册Module3 Unit1 The sun is shining.本单元的话题是描述照片。课文情境是Lingling收到了Daming的来信,Daming 信中介绍他星期六和Simon一起去野餐的有趣经历。信中有三张照片:第一张照片中天气晴朗,阳光普照,鸟儿在树上唱歌,他们看到一群鸭子,它们好像饿了;第二张照片中天空开始下雨,鸟儿飞走了第三张中鸭子在吃Daming他们的三明治。本模块在语言上主要是进一步强化学习现在进行时的运用.本单元共1课时完成。
二、学情分析
本模块的学习重点是学会运用现在进行时描述图片或照片上的场景。六年级学生在四年级上册教材中已经接触过现在进行时的使用,所以学生理解起来并不难。相信学生能够在老师的帮助下自主合作很好地完成本课的学习任务。从而,能够在本模块学习结束后用英语描述照片,写一个有趣的小故事。
三、教学目标
1、语言技能

全体学生能听懂“The sun is shining. The birds are singing in the tree. The ducks are eating our sandwiches.”

全体学生能说:“The sun is shining. The birds are singing in the tree. The ducks are eating our sandwiches.”

全体学生能认读课文,阅读相关短文。

全体学生能按要求完成语句书写。

2、语言知识
⑴全体学生能够初步运用语句: “
The sun is shining. The birds are singing in the tree. The ducks are eating our sandwiches. ”

全体学生能够理解词汇:shine, cry, everyone, fly away, just.全体学生能运用“cry”,部分学生能运用:shine, everyone, fly away, just.
⑶复习现在进行时,过去时的用法。
⑷能感知单词重音和句子重读。
3、情感态度:能体会到学习英语的乐趣。
4、学习策略:尝试阅读英语故事及其他英语课外读物。
5、文化意识:知道英语国家中典型的食品和饮料名称。

六、教学过程:
(一)复习导入Warm-up and lead in(6分钟)
1. Greetings. 2. Free talk.
T: Is it a beautiful day today? S: Yes, it is.
T: Yeah. 3. Lead-in. a. Watch the CD-ROM and answer the question. T: Look! Here’s a photo. It’s a beautiful day too. The dog is running. The bird is flying. Is the dog happy? Let’s watch the CD-ROM. Ss: (After watching the CD-ROM.) No, it isn’t. It’s crying. b. Learn to say the word ‘cry’ and learn to use it with the help of PPT. c. Listen and repeat. d. Read it together. 【设计意图】通过简单的对话交流,呈现本课活动一,为谈论本课谈论照片中的活动情景做好话题方面的准备。
(二)任务呈现Task presentation(2 分钟)
1. Show the task. T: We’ll learn to use the Present Continuous Tense to describe the situations of some photos. After that, to describe some photos as the same. 【设计意图】通过交代学习任务,并布置学完之后要完成的任务,激发学生的学习热情。
(三)课文学习Text learning(14分钟)
1. Introduce the situation of Activity2 and watch the CD-ROM of Activity 2 with the question “Did he take any photos in the park?”.
【设计意图】整体感知课文大意,为进一步理解课文含义做好话题方面的准备。
2. Answer the question. And then show them the photos in Activity2. 【设计意图】借助图片,进一步理解课文大意。
3. Listen and read the letter from Daming. Learn to say the words “have-had, everyone” and “write to”.
4.Learn to describe the situations of the photos. a. Ss read by themselves. b. Help each other. c. Talk about it in groups. 【设计意图】通过小组交流,进一步理解课文含义,达成共识,为汇报交流做好准备。
5. Report the information of each photo. And learn to say the words “shine, fly away, just” and learn to say the main sentences. At the same time, pracitse them in different ways. 【设计意图】通过汇报交流,进一步理解课文含义,在语境中感知、理解核心词汇及核心语句,借助图片及课件进一步学习词汇和语句,同时体会核心语句的语言功能和语言结构。
5. Sum up the function and the grammar and then learn to use them with the help of PPT. 6. Listen and repeat. (四)训练巩固
Practice(8分钟)
1. Read the text by themselves.
2. Check up reading in different ways.
3. Retell the main information according to the tips of the pictures. 4. Finish Activity4: Look and write. Then ask and answers in pairs.

c. Report and correct the answers. (五)任务完成
Task completion(8分钟)
The task: Describe the situations of the photos. a. Show an example:
Look at this photo. In this photo, the sun is shining. we are learning Chinese in the classroom. … is reading and we are listening.
b. Choose one, look and say like the same as above. c. Help each other. d. Show it in class. e. If there’s enough time, write it down. 【设计意图】仿照本课学习内容,对两幅照片所呈现的活动情景进行描述,通过自主练习,同伴互助,全班展示的过程,使学生能够准确利用学习经验完成此项任务,达到语言输出的目的。
(六)小结与布置作业
Summary and homework(2 分钟)
1. Summary Look at the blackboard, try to sum it up with the teacher’s help.
2. Homework. All of you: 1. Listen and read the text. 2. Write the main words and sentences five times.
Some of you: Retell the main information to your friends.
