Warm-up

1.show the pictures of Beijing’s.Let Ss where is it.

2.Beijing is a big city ,great city,so Beijing is the capital of China. B.Find a suspect point.

1.show a photo of compass,point the direction:north,south,east,west.

2.Then let Ss say the direction of Beijing and Changzhi.

Beijing is in north of China. Changzhi is in the south of Shanxi.

C.The interactive exploration

1.If I am in Changzhi,now I want to get to Beijing from Changzhi. How long does it take to get to Beijing from Changzhi by train? and It takes about ...hours.

2.If by car? By plane? On foot?

3.Practice (ask and answer)
