Lesson 4 Who Is Hungry? 教学设计

隆尧县第二实验小学程增霞一、教学目标:

(一)知识目标

1、学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:

who, hungry, water, tea, candy

2、学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本句型结构:

Who is hungry?

Would you like______?

Yes, please./ No, thanks.

(二)能力目标

1、通过角色扮演及情景对话,使孩子们能够在真实的环境中表达自己的需求。

2、让孩子们在合作中运用语言,提高他们的综合语言运用能力。

(三)情感目标

培养孩子们学英语、用英语的积极性和自信心,鼓励他们大胆开口不要惧怕出错。在小组活动中能与其他同学积极配合。

二、教学重难点:

教学重点:掌握词汇who, hungry, water, tea, candy 及句型结构:Would you like _____? Yes,please./ No, thanks.

教学难点:Who is hungry? Would you like _______? Yes, please. / No, thanks. 三、教具准备:多媒体课件,转盘,词卡,食物图卡,实物(water,tea, candy, apple, orange, banana,)。

四、教学过程:

Step1: Greeting:

T:Oh,my dear children, this morning I ate a little food, so now I feel …(老师做动作,学生说词汇:hungry.) Are you hungry?

Ss: Yes.

T: Who is hungry?

Ss: I am hungry.(部分学生举手回答。)

T: Would you like some fruit?

S1: Yes, please.

T: OK, here you are.

S1: Thanks.

(设计思路:通过问答,增进师生感情,提高学生的积极性。以此来做课前热身与导入,有效激趣。)

Step2: Play a guessing game.

1.learn the word “water”“tea”“an apple”“ an orange”, “candy” then teach the sentences:

I’d like some candy. I like candy very much.

2.T: “Would you like some candy?”

S1:“Yes,please.”

T: OK, here you are.

S1: Thanks.

T: You are welcome

(设计思路:利用猜猜游戏和孩子们喜爱的糖果,来学词汇“water”

“tea”“an apple”“ an orange”, “candy”和句子Would you like some candy? 有效激发孩子的学习热情,达到事半功倍的效果。)

Step3: Touch the balloon.

Tell the students: When you touch the balloon, you will see a word, please read the word.

When the students read the words about the food, the teacher asks them: “Would you like _____?” the students answer: “Yes, please.”

Then the teacher will give the card of this food to the student and say: “OK, here you are.”

(设计思路:让学生在碰气球活动中,兴味盎然地读出更多表示食物的词汇,并进一步积极地学习“Would you like ______?句型的问答。)

Step4: Learn the new dialogue:

1.Listen to the tape, and ask the students to read the dialogue in groups. Then answer the questions.

2. Role Play.

(设计思路:通过放幻灯片,听录音,并让学生小组读对话,回答问题,扮演角色,旨在让学生通过多彩的形式来练习,巩固新知。)

Step5:.Play the turntable games:

Make some sentences: Would you like …? /I’d like…

(设计思路:通过幻灯片与手工教具两种转盘游戏形式,旨在让学生通过有趣的游戏来练习、巩固所学句子,拓展更多关于食物的词汇。)

Step6:Play “Chain Game”

Ask students to do the chain drill in groups. Make dialogues: “---What would you like?

--- I’d like a/an/some…”

(设计思路:让学生在链式游戏中,了解自己组内的同学想要的食物,以此来调动学生的积极性,使学生在轻松愉快的氛围中练习句子。)

Step7:Pair work:

Practise the dialogue in pairs:

“---Would you like…?

---Yes, please. /No,thanks.”

(设计思路:让学生利用实物来进行问答练习,在真实的情境中运用所学语言。有效巩固所学句子。)

Step8: Look and say.

Say some sentences according to the pictures and the given words.

(设计思路:让学生利用所给的图片与词汇,模仿例句来造句,巩固形容词:hungry, thirsty, happy, sad和现在进行时的用法。)
