教学目标：

知识目标：

1、学习新单词 hear , turn up, turn down, volume ,a quarter, usually 2、学习有关频率的基本表达。

3、学习、掌握并能灵活运用重点句子。

能力目标：

在培养学生听、说、读、写能力的同时，提高学生的口语交际能力及自学能力。

情感目标：

注重孩子的综合发展，致力于培养学生礼貌待人，合作互助等品质，并鼓励学生养成良好的日常饮食习惯。

教学重点：Turn up, turn down等单词、短语的用法，及各重点句子的灵活运用。

教学难点：volume ,usually的发音。

教学准备：多媒体课件、卡片、录音机。

教学流程：

Step 1. Warming up

1.Greetings.

T:Say hello to the class. Ss: Say hello to the teacher. 2.Sing a song “If You Are Happy!”

Step.2 Presentation.

Boys and girls, let’s play a guessing game.(It’s a kind of food. It’s round. There’s some cheese, onions and sausages on it. It’s very delicious.) Can you guess it?(pizza)Oh,

yes, you’re very clever.

Today ,We’ll learn

Lesson 4 We Usually Eat Pizza On Sundays. (Part One) (教师写课题) OK, let’s read it together.

Step 3 New Lesson

Do you like pizza?(Yes, we do.)Em…It’s yummy. Now look at my pizza, it’s round

.I want to eat it ,but it’s so big.

Look at me carefully .I want to put the pizza apart.(教师将披萨饼分成两半)Now look at the pizza, read after me” half, half”.

Oh ,it’s so big for me. I’m going to split it in half. Look, it’s one fourth of a pizza. We can say one fourth means quarter. (然后，教师再撕一半，剩下披萨饼的四分之一) 1.Teach “a quarter”

(1)Look at the pizza in my hand and read after me “quarter

,quarter…”

(2)Look at the screen .There’s a

imperfect clock. I will fill in the missing part .Then I’ll say

“a quarter，a quarter”

(A quarter =15 minutes) (3)Read after me again and again. (4)Look at the screen, who can tell me the time? What time is it?(Someone will say “eleven forty-five.”)---It’s a quarter to twelve. (5)Let Ss say “a quarter ,a quarter”. Then practice it.(Look at the screen and say) T: I am very glad to hear your sweet voice. But your volume is too low. I can’t hear

you.（教师打开录音机） And I can’t hear the recorder ,can you?(No.)Let’s turn up the volume.(教师将录音机声音调大)

2.Teach “Turn up the volume.”

(1)Clap our hands and say “Turn up ,turn up ,turn up

the volume”

again and again. (2)Say it by themselves three times, then one by one.

(3)Call out some students to say “Turn up the volume.”

(教师将录音机的音量调的越来越大)

Oh，so loudly! Let’s turn down the volume.(教师将音量调低)

3.Teach “Turn down the volume.”

(1)Do the actions and say “Turn down the volume.”

(2)Group by group ,then one by one. (3)Call out some students to do the actions and say “Turn up the volume.”

And “Turn down the volume.”

Well done !Please open your books at page 34. Look at the pictures and the dialogs.Let’s look for the new words in it.(Draw a line under the words.)

Xiaoxiao and Qiaoqiao are watching TV. Listen to the tape carefully and think about my questions : (1)

Who are they? Xiaoxiao, Qiaoqiao and their mom. (3)

What time is it ?It’s a quarter to twelve. (4)

What do they want for lunch? Pizza. (5)

Why do they want to eat pizza for lunch?

They usually eat pizza on Sundays. Congratulations! You’re very clever!

Step 4 Practice

1.(1)Read the dialog by yourselves. (2)Read it in your groups. (3) Choose some pictures and make your own dialogs in your groups. (4)Act out your dialogs. 2.Let’s play a game.“What’s missing?”(Look at words 30 seconds and read them. Then think about what’s missing .) 3.Let’s do some exercises in your groups. Then I’ll call out some students to tell us the correct answers. 4.Do you want to be a little translator? Now, let’s play a game. Look at the screen. Discuss in your groups and hands up. Who can tell us the Chinese meaning of these words ?

Step 5.Sum up

Look at the blackboard and read the words and sentences together.
