Greeting Sing the song about Numbers.

II. Revision & Lesson Hook

1. Review the numbers form 20 to 100.

2. Showing the pictures of the people we have learned and help Ss to review beside, between.

III. New Concepts Part1 1.

Showing objects in relation to other objects or asking Ss to show you. 2.

Ask three students to stand up. Tell on student to stand beside another student. 3.

Tell one student to sit between the two students. Ask a student to get anther student. Ask

a student to sit on a chair. Put a ruler in a pencil box. Ask Where is ______？

Show the pictures of Li Ming, 1)

P1: Talk about Li Ming, Danny and a tree, and to show in front of 2)

P2: Where is Li Ming now?—Li Ming IS behind the tree. 3)

Compare the two pictures. 5.

Play the tape ,Open the book on page10and follow along. 6.

V. Production 1. Ask the students to look at part and explain how to complete the exercise. One student points to a picture and asks Where is Danny? The other student says where Danny is using either: in, on, beside, behind under, between, in front of

2. Letters and sounds 1).Ask the students to look at part4, page11. Begin with ea. Write ea on the blackboard so students can see it clearly. Say the sound as it is made in meat, read. 2).Write meat read beside the two letters. 3).Use a different coloured chalk for the ea sound in the words. 4).Say the words and have your students repeat after you. 5). Another sound of ea. Say the sound as it made in bread, sweater. 6). Write them on the blackboard and highlight ea. 7). Repeat this process now to teach the two oo sounds. 8). Play the tape for this part and follow along. 9). Using the card, and practice thread, moon, wood one by one.
