教学内容
《辽宁师范大学出版社》三年级起点六年级下册《Unit2 Seeing the doctor》第一课时。
教学目标 1.能听、说、读、写:What’s the matter? I have a stomachache.并能在实际情境中运用。
2.能听、说、读、写核心词汇:stomachache, headache, have a fever, have a cold,ill。
3.在学习过程中,激发学生学习语言的兴趣,调动学生参与课堂活动的积极性,培养学生在小组活动中的合作能力。
4.培养学生关心他人,友爱互助,珍爱健康的良好品质。
重点难点
重点:掌握What’s the matter? I have a stomachache. 难点:单词的读音,句子的书写,尤其是对核心词汇的掌握。
教材分析
本单元围绕小主人公David肚子疼,于是妈妈带他去看医生展开话题。通过简单的情景引出有关生病的词汇和句型。
学情分析
六年级的学生拥有三年的英语学习经验,有较扎实的英语基础,具备了一定的动口和动手能力,但是他们的语言运用能力还有待进一步提高。
教学过程 第一课时
StepⅠ:Warming up and revision 1.Greeting with students. 2.Say a chant. 3. Free talk: T: How are you doing today? Ss: I feel happy. T: But I’m not well. Because I have a cold.设计意图:该教学环节主要是通过歌瑶起到热身、活跃课堂气氛的作用,同时又可以为本课的新知做铺垫。
StepⅡ: Presentation and drill 1.T: OK! Today we will learn a new lesson Unit 2 Seeing the doctor. 2. T: Look! What happened? He’s ill. What’s the matter, David? Ss: I have a stomachache. stomach—ache—stomachache head-ache-headache
tooth-ache—toothache
3. Learn to read and use the new words and sentences with the pictures: stomachache, headache, toothache, have a fever, have a cold, ill. 4. T: Look, our friend David is feeling terrible. What’s the matter, David? Listen to the tape and answer the questions. Q1: What’s the matter with David? He has a stomachache. 5. Listen again and answer the second question. Q2: What does the doctor say? Take some medicine and rest well. T: What’s your advice? Can you tell us? 6.Fill in the missing words.(补全对话)设计意图:该教学环节从整体感知听为主,带着任务听问题,边听边思考,培养学生的英语语言学习习惯。
Step Ⅲ:Practice 1.Try to guess. How come ? Let’s listen again. Read silently and answer. Listen and imitate 2.Think and talk. 3.Read and fill in the blank.(Ss can write it down, too)
设计意图:该教学环节主要是对新知进行操练,通过小组合作既促进学生之间的交流,又有利于优等生带动后进生,培养学生团结和合作意识。
Step Ⅳ:Consolidation and extension 1. Talk with your partner. 2. Think and write. Imagine you are ill, how can we ask for leaving? Write a note for leaving. What should we do? We should take more fruit and vegetables. We should do more exercise. Only we have health body, we can get joy and happy. 3.What have you learnt today? 4. Homework (1) Please act the dialogue. (2) Write the request for leave. 设计意图:抓住学生在表演方面兴趣浓厚的特点,激发学生的兴趣,体验语言学习的快乐。再通过设置真实情景,培养了学生写的能力。并对学生进行德育,培养学生关注健康的意识,情感教育贯穿始终。
