一、

教材分析：

本单元主要通过就餐这一话题，学习常见的有关食品、饮料的8个英文单词和与此有关的日常用语。为体现语言运用的实效性、真实性，本单元围绕这一话题，设计了Part A Let’s talk与Part B Let’s talk 两种生活情景，教给学生如何表达自己喜欢的或想要的食物以及为别人提供或请别人吃东西时的表达语，同时本单元最后的Story time部分的动画既生动又有趣，能帮助学生有效的复习前面学过的句型：I’d like…和Can I have…?

及回答：Here you are。故事中小猫咪的出现是一个有趣的点，使学生积极自愿融入到故事情景中。小学生求知欲强，有较强的参与欲望，学习本单元应该是比较容易。

二、学情分析：

学生在上单元学习了动物单词、I have a…及I like it.的句型，本单元在此基础上，让学生继续学习有关食物的单词，运用这些单词学习句型I’d like…和Can I have…?并熟练运用所学句型进行情景交际，为下个单元Happy Birthday学习奠定基础,因为下个单元也是在关于食物的基础上的延伸，既学习到数字，也可以让学生把本单元的知识融入进去进行新的创造。

三、教学目标

知识目标：

能懂、会说前面学过的单词：bread; juice; egg(eggs);milk; water; cake; fish; rice 2、

八、教学步骤：

Step 1. Warm up

Dress up as a waitress and explain the meaning of “waiter”

and “waitress” to students. Then present a plate of different kinds of fruit to students and ask “What would you like?”

If the student answers “I like…”, he/ she will only get a heart card. If the student says “I’d like…”, he/she can get the fruit he/she orders.

Step2. Lead in T: Can you come here and act the waiter or waitress?

T: Who want to order meals?

(Let one student be the waiter or waitress and five students be the customers) If students can’t speak “Can I have some…” out, T plays as a customer and asks “Can I have…?”

After this, use the pictures to help students review the words

and sentence patterns they have learned in Part A and B. T: Now boys and girls, there are two ways to order food. What are they? (Let students summarize the sentence patterns said before)

Step 3. Look and guess T: Look! Zoom is coming. He wants to eat some delicious food in my snack bar. But what happened? Let’s have a look.

Step 4. Look and match

After watching, complete task 1. Select four pictures from

the given six pictures. Then stick the pictures on the paper of blackboard design.

Task2: Work in groups and match the sentences with the right pictures. Then watch the video to check the answers.

Step 5. Cartoon dubbing and role play Now look at the pictures carefully. How many animals can you see? Ss: Bear. Cat T: So can you guess what the cat will say? Look at picture one. When the cat sees the fish, what he will say.

He walks toward the fish. What’s his idea?

Now he is beside the table. What’s his feeling?

He is on the tale and runs toward the fish. Why?

At last, the cat eats the fish. How does he feel?

First let students suppose what the cat will say.

After this, watch the video and let students read the sentences after the video. At the same time, let students pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation of the cat’s voice.
