【学习目标】

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

1. talk about different animals in the zoo with new words and phrases; 2. tell people where the place for each kind of animal is; 3. scan the passage to find the special information. 【学习内容】

1. New words and phrases: everybody, straight, on, bamboo, along, road, king, remember, that, dangerous, sound, forest, funny, laugh, giraffe, quite, neck, leaf, north-east, bridge, cross, all day long, make beautiful sounds, make people laugh 2. New structures: Go straight on and you’ll find the Panda House.

Walk along the road.

Turn left, and to the west of the Lion’s Area, you’ll find the World of Birds. 【重点难点】

1. Talk about the looks and the habits of the animals. 2. Learn how to get around the zoo.
