一、学情分析

本课的教学对象是三年级学生。他们经过几个月的英语学习,已经积累了一定的语言基础,学习英语的热情非常高,很喜欢把英语应用到自己的真实生活中去,所以对于本课身体部位的学习,非常期待。

二、教材分析

本节课主要学习关于人体部位的单词head, arm, hand, leg, foot及句型This is his/my..., 并能在真实的语境中运用这个句型。其中,This is.../Point to ...在前面几个单元中已经涉及,本单元对这两个句型要加以巩固学习及运用。

三、教学目标

(一)知识目标

1、掌握并巩固身体部位的词汇:head/arm/hand/leg/foot等以及运用句型:This is +人称物主代词+身体部位名词。

2、能够口头运用“This is his.../Point to your...”这些重点句型练习身体的相应部位。

(二)能力目标

培养学生的听、说、读、做的能力。

(三)情感目标

激发和培养学生学英语的兴趣,使其主动参与课堂实践活动,从而培养学生合作意识。

四、教学重难点

重点:让学生熟练使用“This is +人称物主代词+身体部位名词”的句型对某人(物)进行介绍。

难点:学生实际运用所学的语言知识。

五、教具准备

教书用书、多媒体课件。

六、教学过程

Step1:Warming up

1. Greetings. T: Let’s begin our class. Good afternoon, boys and girls. Ss: Good afternoon, Miss Chen!

T: How are you today?

Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And how are you ?

T:I’m fine too, thank you. Sit down, please.

2. Sing a song《Head and shoulder》.(课件播放歌曲)

T: Now let’s enjoy the song. Ss: OK!

T: You’re very good!

Step 2: Presentation Activity 1: Review “point to...”.

T :Would you like play a game? S: Yes. T: Take out your fingers, let’s point.(教师说口令,学生根据口令做相关动作。)

Point to the door./Point to the window./Point to your chair./Point to your desk./Point to your pen.

Activity 2: Learning new words and sentences.

T:Look at this picture.

T:This is his head .(T重复句子,同时课题意思)

T & Ss read the phrases “his head”. T:Learn some new words. (head, arm, hand, leg, foot) T: You all did a good job! T: OK, now boys and girls, we have made a good friend in Module 4. Do you still remember him? Ss: Yes.

T: Who is he? Ss: He is Panpan. T: Yes, you are so clever. Now let’s introduce his body.(出示熊猫图片)

T: Read after me: body. Ss: body.

T:

Look, What’s this? (出示熊猫头部的图片)

Ss: 头.

T:Yes, we can say head. Follow me, please. Head.

Ss: Head. T: This is his head.

Ss: This is his head. 同样的方法教arm/hand/leg/foot. (用多种方式读:全班读、小组读、男女分开读、开火车读、随机抽读等) Step 3: Practice

T: Let’s chant! Ss: OK, good! Head, head, 点点头

Hand, hand, 拍拍手

Arm, arm, 伸伸臂

Leg, leg, 踢踢腿

Foot, foot, 跺跺脚

2.Listen and point.(教师出示课件并发出指令,学生做动作。)

T: OK,now I say and you point. T: Point to your...(head/arm/hand/leg/foot) T: Point to your...and your... 3.Say and point.(指明学生发出指令,要求其余学生做动作并练习。)

T:Next, let’s do it like this. One student say, and the others do and say together.

S1: Point to your...(head/arm/hand/leg/foot) Ss: This is my...(head/arm/hand/leg/foot)(学生指并回答)

Step 4: Summary Sum up the new words and sentences of this class.(课件出示生词和句子)

Step 5: Homework 1 Draw a picture of your father , then show it to your and say,“This is his head/arm/hand/leg/foot.”
