We love animals Teaching Content：B Let's learn Let's do Read Teaching Objectives：

1、Knowledge objectives: （1）At the end of the class, students will be able to recognize and articulate “bird ，panda，monkey，elephant，tiger ，zoo” correctly.

（2）Students will be able to do actions correctly according to commands. 2、Abilities objectives: To train students to use the learned words in real life to express the familiar and favorite animals, and cultivate the ability to use the language correctly according to the situation. 3、Emotional objectives: To cultivate students' sense of competition and cooperation, and develop students’ awareness of animal protection.

Teaching key points：

（1）能正确认读六个单词。

（2）能听懂let’s do中的指令，做出相应的动作。

Teaching difficult points：

elephant monkey bird panda tiger的发音。“elephant”是多音节单词，读音较长，学生不容易掌握。

Teaching Procedures Step1 Preparation

1. lead-in： （5mins) （1）Greeting to students: T: Hello，boys and girls！How are you?

（2）Set a situation: T:Boys and girls，we are at the zoo now.You can see many animals at the zoo.(呈现zoo图片）Welcome to the zoo.There are many animals.Wow！Are you happy today?Let’s chant，OK?（播放课件:Look at the cat.It is fat.）！

2. Step2 Presentation (15mins) 1.show pictures of five animals body parts．

T：Look and guess．What animals are they？

S：It's a dog／an elephant／a bird／a monkey/a panda．

2.T shows pictures of animals on the PPT and says riddles to describe animals. Ss listen to me and guess what animal it is. （1）present bird T: It can fly. What’s that ?

Ss：小鸟。T: bird. Ss: bird.T：Now，read after me. bird↗，bird↗，bird↘。

T: Let’s greet to the bird .

Ss：Hi, bird！

（Use phonics自然拼读法

to spell words，and write the word on the whiteboard b-i-r-d）

T：引导学生读出：It’s a bird. Ss: It’s a bird.T:spot check the students . T：show the actions about the bird. 引导学生学习：Act like a bird。

Act like a bird.T: now stand up .let’s do the action together .

（2）present tiger T: Let’s go on .Please look the picture. It is very strong .There is Wang on its forehead. It sounds like hou！What’s that ?

Ss：老虎

T: tiger. Ss:tiger.T：Now，read after me. tiger↗，tiger↗，tiger↘。

T: Let’s greet to the tiger .

SS:Good morning , tiger ！

（Use phonics to spell words，and write the word on the whiteboard t-i-g-e-r）

T：引导学生读出：It’s a tiger.Ss:

T：show the actions about the tiger. 引导学生学习：Act like a tiger （3）present panda T: Who’s the next friend ? Oh ,It has big eyes .It is black and white. He is fat.What is it？

Ss：A panda. T：Yes .He‘s our national treasure“国宝”.Do you like him?.

T: .p-a-n-d-a.panda panda，act like a panda. (4) Present monkey T: Next one.Let’s look. It is very smart .It likes peaches. What is it？

Ss：A monkey. T：Yes .You are very smart, too. T: .m-o-n-k-e-y,monkey,monkey.Act like a monkey.

（5）Present elephant T: It has a long nose and two big ears . What is it？

Ss：elephant. T：Yes .It is an elephant.(解释an和a的区别）

T: .e-l-e-p-h-a-n-t，act like an elephant. 3.Show the pictures about elephant, monkey , bird , panda , tiger, one by one.Then the teacher ask : What’s that?Let ss answer together.

T: What’s that? S1:It is a bird .a tiger. a panda. a monkey.an elephant

4.Listen to the words and repeat！（播放let’s learn 部分的录音，学生跟读。）

Step3 Practice: Let’s play a game！ (10mins) （1）Words Spinner (PPT转盘游戏）

（2）你演我猜(S1 shows action and S2 guess并进行对话What’s this? It’s a ...)

（3）播放let’s do的录音，学生根据一起指令做动作。

Step4 Production (5mins) Ask a student to be a little tour guide:According to the pictures on the PPT and introduce the zoo！

Step5 Emotional ascension (3mins) Animals are our friends ！

Step6 Homework: (2mins) 1.Write each words four times on the notebook. 2.Design the zoo in your heart and draw some animals in it（并标注上动物的英文单词）.
