Teaching Aims(教学目标): 1.能听、说、读、写本课的核心词汇及短语：photographer, writer, Street cleaner , right away , in a short time 2.能熟练掌握核心句型：

In the past, she used a pen and paper to write her books. Now she uses a computer. 3.能流利地朗读课文。

1. 能在语境中正确使用本单元的核心词汇。

2. 能用一般现在时和一般过去时说说现在和过去的生活变化。

录音机、自制课件、照片等

Teaching Procedures(教学过程)：

Step 1.

Warm up （热身活动）

1. Greetings. 2. Let students talk about changes in our lives. Step 2.

Presentation and practice (自主探究) 1. Let students see the changes of tools for work.

2. Learn the new words. T: Let’s listen and say the new words.

Ss read these words after teacher. 3. Work in groups to read the new words. Recite the new words, and then recite in groups. Sept 3.

Learn the story (文本学习) 1.T: （show two photos）This is a photo of me in the past. This is a photo of me now. What are the differences? S1: You had short hair in the past. Now you have long hair. T: Good job! Now Read the texts in groups. (1) Know the meaning of the sentences. (2) Find out the words you un-known. 1. Ask students watch the pictures of the books and talk about their jobs and tools. 2. Listen and say the text in groups. 3. Get the students to compelet the table on Page 9. Step 4.

Consolidation（拓展延伸）

Do some exercise. Step 5.

Homework 1. Read and recite the passage on Student’s Book page 8.

2. Recite the words on Student’s Book page 9.

3. Read the rhyme on Student’s Book page 13.
