2.语言技能目标：学生能运用was / were 来描述过去发生的事情，并且能在真实情境中运用本课重点句型进行正确描述。

3.情感态度目标：提高学生听、说和交流的能力，锻炼小组合作和学生的自学能力。让学生懂得珍惜时间，把握现在。

教学重点：学生能够听、说、认读本课单词及句型；能运用was, were 描述人或事物过去的特征与状态，对比过去与现在的不同。

教学难点：熟练朗读本课课文，运用所学知识进行小组对话。能在真实情境中运用本课重点句型

【学生分析】

本课的一般过去时语法结构，学生是第一次接触，教材中只是涉及到了三个be动词is , am和are 的变化形式，所以要让学生从最基本的句型开始掌握。通过创设情境，寻找不同点等方式手段帮助学生掌握本课内容。

教学准备：单词卡片、PPT、图片、点读笔，课前安排两名学生带上自己以前与现在的照片。

【教学过程】

Step 1. Warm up 1. Greetings. 2. Let’s chant.“ Zoo”.

3. Today I’ve got a photo of animals. It’s a butterfly. Do you like it ?(引出蝴蝶，孩子们表示喜欢蝴蝶。) Watch the cartoon about the butterfly. 4. What does Kitty say ? It is beautiful. （Learn: beautiful）
