It的用法及强调结构

1. 代词

（1）用作人称代词, 代替前文提到的事物。

My watch is missing. I can’t find (it) anywhere．

Her father has gone abroad. Have you heard about (it)? （2）代替指示代词this, that。

What’s this? (It’s) a computer．

Whose pen is that? (It’s) mine．

（3）表示时间、天气、距离、季节、度量等。

2. 引导词

（1）作形式主语, 代替由不定式, 动名词或从句表示

的真正主语。其基本句型为：

It (形式主语) +adj. + to+ v. It (形式主语) +adj. + that (subject (主语)+v. ) It (形式主语)+adj.+ whether (subject +v.)

注意：

此结构强调的成分仅限于主语、宾语和状语。

例如：

原句：My father did the experiment in the lab yesterday evening．

强调主语：

It was my father who/that did the experiment in the lab yesterday evening．

强调宾语：

It was the experiment that my father did in the lab

yesterday evening．

强调时间：

It was yesterday evening that my father did the experiment in the lab．

强调地点：

It was in the lab that my father did the experiment

yesterday evening．

强调句型的一般疑问句形式为: Is/Was it.. that/who...? 强调句型的特殊疑问句形式为: 特殊疑问词+ is/was+that... not...until 结构的强调句型为：

It is/was not until ...that... 注意：否定词not要转移到until前面。that后应

用肯定形式。
