Teaching design Ⅰ.Teaching content:

Unit2 Lesson 8 Ⅱ.Teaching aims: 1.Aims on the knowledge: To enable the students to master the words “boy,girl,thirty,forty”,and to master the new dialogue“How many …are there …?There is/are…”

2.Aims on the abilities: (1)The ability aim is to enable the Ss to understand and speak: “-How many …are there …? -There is/are…”

Make sure that Ss can use this dialogue in real situations. (2)To develop Ss’ abilities of communication and their innovation. 3.Aims on the emotion: (1)The emotion aim is to foster Ss’ consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition. (2)By completing the task,the Ss increase their interest and set up self-confidence in language study. Ⅲ.Teaching focus and difficulty: To master the new words:thirty,forty. Ss can read,listen,speak and write the words:boy,girl.

Students study and use the sentence patterns “How many …are there …?There is/are…”

Ⅵ.Teaching procedure: 1.Warm up: T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Miss Li. T: Now, Let’s begin our class. First, let’s sing and dance. Everybody stand up, please, Let’s begin.(Ten little Indian boys) 2.Review: T: In last lesson, we have learnt some words about number. Do you remember? Ss: Yes. T:Now, Let’s review them.( Play the shooting game and review the words from twenty-one to twenty-nine.) 3.Presentation: (1) T: Children, Today I invite some new friends to our class. Look, this is Miss Green. Let’s say hello to Miss Green.

Ss: Hello, Miss Green, welcome to our class. T:Next, Let’s invite other friends. Guess, what are they?(Show some pictures of animal) Ss: …

(Make some examples with the new dialogue.) (2)Show the photo of the students and teach the students how to write the words “boy” and “girl”. (3)Play the maths game and teach the new words “thirty” and “forty”.(Play the touching game and passing game to practice the words. Teach the pronounce of the words.) (4)Now, Miss Green is asking students questions, What are they talking about? (Show some questions, Listen and answer.) Read the text by yourselves. Read the text together. Read the dialogue in roles. 4.Practice: (1).Choose the right answer. (2).Do a survey with the new dialogue. (3).Have a chant:

Ⅷ.Teaching reflection:

著名教育家叶澜说过：“一个教师写了一辈子教案不一定成为名师，如果一个教师写三年教学反思可能成为名师。”这话意味深长，旨在强调教学反思的重要性。因此通过此次授课，我将从以下三点对此次教学进行反思: 一、要适当放手。

在教学过程中，老师应学会适当放手，使学生自身更多地自主学习，自主探究问题，从而不断拓展学生们的思维能力，通过探究、讨论、合作等方式达到良好的学习效果。

二、要衔接紧密而自然。

小学高年段的英语以语篇为主，所以在教学各个环节中应更多地注意环节的自然过渡，多设置情景，帮助学生更好地理解语篇，并能准确而灵活地运用语言。

三、要合理分配时间。

在课堂各个环节的时间分配和把控上还需要细细斟酌，需在重难点部分多投入时间，引导学生充分思考，探究。教师更好地输入，学生才能更好地输出。努力打造高效课堂。

作为一名新老师，在以后的教学中我一定做到用心体会，及时发现问题。只有发现问题，才能实现“反思性教学”。通过参加工作以来的几次教学实践，我发现无论课前的准备多么的充分，要上好一节课，或多或少总有点得失，需要我细心体会，对自己的教学活动进行有意识的、自觉地反省，以便进行合理地调整与改进。在自我反省的同时，我也还要多请教领导和前辈们的意见，在教学中发现问题，改正问题，解决问题。不断学习和吸取经验，不断地完善自己，以便更好地进行教学。
