Unit5 Signs 一、教学目标：

1.知识目标

（1）能初步感知并理解故事，能够体会故事中主要人物的不同情感，用不同的语气朗读并表演故事。

（2）能够简单地听、说、读单词及词组：sign, smell, at a shopping centre, be careful, mean, floor, around, take…into…, in a restaurant

（3）能听懂、会说、会读：What does it mean? It means ……./ No eating or drinking./ No littering./ No smoking./ Wet floor. （4）能听懂、会说、会读“Public signs”。

2.技能目标

(1) 能借助提示，完整的复述本课对话

(2) 通过本课时的学习，让学生能够看懂一些常见的公共标识，并能用英语进行询问极其描述。

3.情感目标

(1)根据标志的意思，能够介绍、询问、给人以忠告和建议。

(2)通过学习公共标志常识，加强社会公德教育，提高学生自身的文明素养。

二、教学重点：

通过本课时的学习，让学生能够看懂一些常见的公共标示，并能用英语进行询问及其描述。

三、教学难点：

能借助提示，完整的复述本课对话。

四、教学准备：PPT, 单词卡片

五、教学过程：

Step 1. Warming up 1. T: Good morning, boys and girls. 2.Sing a song: The signs in the park What about the song?

It’s about signs.

3. Show the title:Unit5 Signs

Read the title.

Step 2. Presentation 1.Show today’s learning aims and today’s task

2.Show some pictures about the bad behaviors and ask some questions:

(1) Can you eat or drink? Can you park/litter/smoke?

Tell the Ss: you can’t eat or drink (板书)

you can’t litter

you can’t smoke

(2)Teach the signs : No eating or drinking, No littering, No smoking, Wet floor (3)Match the signs

(4)Read the signs (出示单词卡片) (5)Try to write P50 3. Piont to the sign and ask: What does it mean? It’s means …

(1) Practise the sentences(板书)

(2)Choose on picture and work in pairs 4. Show the characters with questions:Who are they? Where do they go?

5.Story time (1)Watch and answer. T: How many signs can they see in the text?

Let’s watch the cartoon and then you can answer.

T: How many signs can they see? S: They are going to the shopping centre.（教授shopping centre）

(Ss watch and answer) S: Four.
