and “PE” and listen, speak and read the words “music” and “art”.

Say hello to students. (2)

Play a game: Simon Says.

When teacher says “Stand up”, students will not stand up. When teacher says “Simon says stand up”, they will stand up. Simon says stand up, sit down, turn left, turn right.

Step 2. Presentation and Practice (1)

LiYan shows her school timetable to students, and let them guess what subjects she has today. She shows four pictures “A poem”

“ABCs”

“What’s ten and ten?”

“A boy who is running”

which stand for four subjects we have learnt before “Chinese, English, maths and PE”. Teacher sticks the subjects pictures on the blackboard and make students read them. At the same time pay attention to the pronunciation of “maths” and the spell of letter “t”. (2)

One day, LiYan meets Mimi. LiYan ask Mimi “Do you like English?”

Mimi answers “Yes, I do.” Then teacher asks the question “Do you like music?” Students can answer it by imitating Mimi and saying “Yes, I do.”

Then teacher sticks the music picture on the blackboard. So does art. (3)

LiYan and Peter is studying words, but one is missing. Can you help them find it? Students help them find out the word, so LiYan will sing an English song for them. (4)

LiYan introduces the subjects she like. One star means LiYan like it. Two stars means LiYan likes it very much. Then, LiYan asks Micky “Do you like music?” Micky answers “Yes, I do.” or “Yes, I do.I like it very much.”
