教学目标：

1.复习有关动物的单词和描述人或物的形容词. 2. 会说Let’s chant, 会描述动物的特征. 教学重点：复习big, small, tall, short, fat, thin等单词. 教学难点：用恰当的形容词来描述动物的特征。

教学准备：相关课件、单词卡片. 教学时数：一课时

教学过程：

一、热身、复习

(Warm-up/Revision) 1. Greet the class as usual. 2. Sing s song—At the zoo. 在音乐的伴奏下,全班同学边唱边做动作.

二、复习（Revision）

1.利用课件复习单词fat, thin, tall, short, big, small, long, short. 2.利用课件出示动物类图片,让学生快速地描述所看到的动物.

三、.新课呈现(Prensentation) 1. 教学Listen and chant (1) 出示panda 和bird 的图片，然后介绍说：This is Little bird. This is Baby panda. 向学生讲解little 和baby 都是“小的”意思，如“Little cat, little tiger, baby lion, baby elephant. （2）请全班同学试着描述树上的小鸟和地上的小熊猫。然后根据学生的描述整体并板书如下：

Little bird :

It’s small and fast.

It has a long tail.

Baby panda: It’s fat.

It has a short tail

指着Baby panda 说：Baby panda is fat. It’s a little bit fat. 然后指着班上的某个学生说：He’s fat. He’s a little bit fat. 教学a little bit （有点儿），告诉学生a little bit 可以用在描述语言前面。如：He’s a little bit unhappy. He’s a little bit tired. 然后要求学生用a little bit 对黑板上的句子进行改写。如：“It’s small and fast. It’s fat.”

改成: It’s a little bit small and a little bit fast. It’s a little bit fat. (3)对着树上的小鸟和地上的熊猫说：

Little bird, little bird.

You are small and fast. 课时计划：

然后课件出示chant的内容请学生模仿我的样子对着小鸟和熊猫说一说。

（4）播放chant 的录音，让学生边做边跟着录音表演chant, 体会chant 的美感。

（5）分组表演，比一比哪组说的好，奖励最好的一组。

2. 学生完成Match and read aloud

先让学生们描述本部分的动物，然后再让他们阅读并进行连线，完成后校对。

四、巩固与拓展（Consolidation and extension）

Sing the song:The cat is from the UK

先逐句教唱，然后再让学生们跟录音唱。

五、情景教学

Boys and girls, you see animals are so cute, so we should love animals, because animals are our friends.

六、、家庭作业(Homework)

1．听录音，跟读chant.

2. 向你的家人描述一下你的好朋友。
