multi-media. Teaching and learning steps: Step 1 Leading in and rvision.

1. Lead in the new lesson with a dubbing game. First, watch a movie to review the sentence structures we learnt yesterday. The movie is about asking and answering somebody’s favorite subject. 2. After seeing the movie, let two pairs of students to dub the movie out and role play the conversation. Step 2 Show the learning goals to the students.

Let a student to read them out loudly to make sure everyone can know what we will learn today. Step 3 New descriptive words

1. Ask some students about their favorite subjects and why they like the subjects. Let them think of some adjectives to describe the reasons.

Use the structure —What’s your favorite subject? —My favorite subject is…

—Why do you like it? —Because it is. 2. And then show some interesting pictures about the adjective words we will learn today. 3. Translate the words into Chinese. 4. Finish Activity 1a. Match the words on the left with their opposites on the right. 5. Listening. Finish Activity 1b.Listen and check ( √ ) the words you hear in 1a.
