Step 1 Pre-reading

1.About me

2.Enjoy a story about a mother and her son.

3.Talk about the Earth with the students

(1) What’s on her surface?

(2) What’s in her body?

The Earth is sad. We can do something to protect the Earth.

Step 2 While-reading

1. Watch the cartoon

Q: What can we do to protect the Earth?

(1) Save water Save energy Save trees

(2) Don’t use too much plastic

2. Passage 1 Save water
