Check the Ss homework.

The Ss read the past tense.

1-2: Game : chain game

II. Presentation:

2-1 Look at Lingling’s photo, T: What do you want to know about Lingling ?

2-2 Lead the Ss ask : Where did Lingling go ? What did she do ?

Watch the cartoon and try to find the answers . Lingling went to the children’s theatre . They laughed a lot .

Is there a children’s theatre in Guilin ? Where ?

III. New text learning

3-1 Watch the cartoon again then try to fill in the blanks .

Are there any other people （其他人）in the story? Who? What did they do ?

Tell the teacher’s son’s story , the Ss read it .
