一.教材分析

本课是新标准英语三年级下册(一年级起点)第十模块第一单元新授课。本模块话题是shopping,功能是谈论过去式状态,本节课主要学习be动词过去式引导的一般疑问句。在通过上一模块首次让学生接触一般过去式后,这一模块通过对人物所处地点的变换的情境,向学生进一步来展现这个内容。课文情境是Daming的妈妈在商店里寻找Daming,妈妈问了Smart一家后,发现Daming在二楼为她挑选母亲节礼物。涉及到的标志着过去时的词语还是上一模块出现的‘was’和‘were’,但是句型有所不同。‘was’和‘were’在三年级英语中有着重要的作用,为四年级学习英语语法过去时做出铺垫。

二.学生分析

三年级学生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛等特别感兴趣,课堂上以表扬为主,注重培养学生学习英语兴趣。但他们仍然存在着稳定性较差,注意力不易长时间集中等特点,所以,在教学设计中,应该注意结合儿童的心理特点,创设真实、有趣的语言学习情境,通过丰富多彩的课堂教学活动,调动他们学习英语的积极性。

三.教学目标

1.语言知识:1)功能:能用was或were谈论过去的状态

2)语法:能进一步学习、掌握一般过去时态be动词was,were的用法,在恰当的情境中熟练运用Were you……? Yes, we were. / No, we weren’t.

3)词汇:能理解second, floor, worried, find ,first, remember, Mother’s Day,并运用find,floor

4)语音:感知课文的语音语调

2.语言技能:1)听:能听懂second, floor, worried, find ,first, remember, Mother’s Day和课文

2)说:能运用‘was’和‘were’对过去的人或事物状态提问和回答

3)读:能理解课文对话内容,有感情的朗读或表演对话

4)写:能拼写出单词find和floor 3.情感态度:在遇到困难时候能够大声向他人求助

4.学习策略:在学习中集中注意力,并且善于观察,能够注意到动词形态的变化

5.文化意识:在学习和日常交际中,能够初步注意到楼层表示的英美异同

四.教学重、难点

教学重点:理解课文语篇,引导学生用句型Were you…? 或Was he/she…? 完成任务

教学难点:能够在语言情境中正确运用was或were引导的一般疑问句,并能区分人称进行回答

五.教学过程

(一)Warming-up 1. Greetings.

Sing a chant: The London Eye 2. Revision: was, wasn’t, were, weren’t.

3. Lead-in

The little six was in London. He talked to Bob by phone. Let’s watch it and answer the

question. T: Where were you yesterday, little six? Ss: I was in London yesterday.

Ss listen and read the text.

【设计意图】跟唱歌曲激发学生学习兴趣,让学生快速进入London情境,运用白板气球游戏复习过去式词汇,让学生加深印象。用一般过去式课文导入,学生初步接触过去式的一般疑问句,为本课学习做铺垫。

(二)Task presentation T: Today, let’s learn Module 10 Unit 1, Daming and his mum go to a shop. But his mum can’t find him. Let’s help mum. Then we can use ‘was’ and ‘were’ to ask some questions. At last, we can help Xiongda to find Xionger.

【设计意图】呈现任务,明确学习目标,带着目的学习课文。

(三)Text learning 1. Listen and answer

T: What happened to Daming’s mum? Ss: She is worried. Teach: worried. She can’t find Daming. Teach: find/kind /mind/behind/blind 2. Listen, read and answer T: Where was Daming?

Ss: He was on the second floor. T: How do you know that? Mum asks Mr Smart and Sam: Was Daming there? Ss: No, he wasn’t. Teach: first floor

Then mum asks Ms Smart and Amy: Were you on the second floor? Ss: Yes, we were. Teach: second floor Teach: first, second, three, fourth, fifth T introduces the different expression of floor in America and British.

Amy: And Daming was there. I remember. Teach: remember. Daming buys a CD for Mum. It’s Mother’s Day. Teach: Mother’s Day 3. Listen and read 4. Role-play 【设计意图】运用视频、点读笔教学软件,引起学生学习课文的兴趣。引导学生构建语篇框架,通过课文朗读、扮演等练习培养学生口语表达能力,过程中关注学生课文掌握情况。通过图片向学生介绍英美文化中楼层表达方式的异同,让学生了解中外楼层表达方式的不同。

(四)Practice

1. Look and say Was Daming there? No, he wasn’t. Were you on the second floor? Yes, we were. 2. Ask and answer Were you….? Yes, I was. /No, I wasn’t.

3. Look and remember Was he/she on the first/second floor? Yes, he/she was. No, he/she wasn’t. Were they on the first/second floor? Yes, they were. /No, they weren’t. 4. Look and guess Were you……..? Yes, I was. / No, I wasn’t.

Was he/she….? Yes, he/she was. No, he/she wasn’t. Ss practice in groups. 【设计意图】兴趣是小学生进行英语练习的动力之源。活化处理教材,使用手机软件游戏趣味进行功能句连说活动,为学生后续的语言输出打下基础。看图识记,学生使用白板功能,实现学生和白板互动课堂。

(五)Task completion Xiongda and Xionger were in a forest. One day, Xiongda couldn’t find Xionger in the forest. Xiongda got out of the forest and he saw me.

Eg. Xiongda: Xionger, Xionger, where are you? Hi, I’m worried. I can’t find Xionger. Was he in a park? Miss Li: No, he wasn’t. Xiongda: Was he in a shop? Miss Li: No, he wasn’t. Sorry, I can’t help you. You can ask others. Ss try to act it out in groups. Xiongda:

Xiongda: Thank you.

Xionger: Sorry. The…..is for you. Happy…….! Xiongda: Oh, thank you! Key words: on the playground, in the library, at the airport, ……. T plays a video about keeping your safe in public. Don't be alone. Be with your parents. Don't go with strangers. Wait for parents. Can't find parents. Find a police. 【设计意图】语句的学习是为了更好组合与运用,提高学生运用语言的能力。通过课外寻人小故事,让学生表演对话,活学活用过去式的一般疑问句寻找他人。同时教育学生人身安全,进行德育教育。

(六)Summary and homework. 1. Read the text. 2. If you have abilities, you will find some books about finding people.
