设计理念:
本节课注重发展学生的核心素养,体现语言学习对学生发展的价值,充分考虑语言学习的持续性和渐进性,重视英语语言的实用价值,重视学习的实践性和应用性,体现人文性和工具性,整堂课不仅关注所有学生,还特别关注学习者的不同特点和个体差异,发展学生个性和提高人文素养。
本节课注重发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神,采用语篇教学,以语篇教学突破口,注重培养学生阅读能力,使学生通过阅读感受语言,学会应用,并且在学习语言的同时进行情感教育,通过学习让学生体会到空气的重要性,在业余的时间应做有意义的事,让自己的业余生活丰富多彩。
教材分析:
本册书设为十二个单元。每个话题均包含语音,词汇,功能句和语篇等学习内容。每单元的前两课课采取整体学习的方法,通过对话和语篇的输入让学生在活泼,自然和真实的语境中感知,模仿并习得。循序渐进的发展阅读能力。
本单元学习的内容是有关构成大自然的核心元素以及保护环境的方法。让学生在学习自然元素的过程中感知、实践和体验。采用探究、合作等学习方式,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
本课教学内容为六年级上册第十单元第二课时,
即Say and act部分借助对话录音呈现五个目标词汇clean, dirty, fresh, smoke, factory等有关空气污染的词;并让学生通过看、听、说、做等途径来感知并学习这些词汇。
Complete the notes部分要求学生能够读懂再构文本,并根据课文对话情况,完成语篇填空,同时强化良好的书写习惯。Ask and answer 部分要求学生能够围绕保护环境这一主题,以小组合作学习的方式,讨论造成空气污染的原因以及如何保护空气,意在培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
学情分析:
本课所教授的学生为小学六年级,作为高年级学生,已经有了一定的英语基础和语言运用能力,掌握了大量的词汇及句型,对空气及大气污染在生活中也有了一定的认识,这对于本节课问题的回答有很大帮助。学生会很愿意结合旧知回
答本课的问题,在此基础上,再学习五个新词汇,这样学生接受起来容易多了。
通过在平时每节课的多元智能的训练,学生能够养成自觉预习,主动学习的习惯,能够通过音标拼读单词,和运用英文解释单词,并在课堂上能够通过小组合作解决课文中的问题和重难点。

3.情感目标:
1)能够在课堂活动中,调动学生的学习热情,激发学生英语学习的兴趣。
2)能够在小组活动体验中,培养学生互助、合作学习的意识,提高学生运用语言能力。
3)能够了解空气的相关作用和现状,深刻懂得保护环境的重要性,提高环保意识,培养环保责任感。

Step1:
Warming –up
Guessing game 1)T: Good morning, boys and girls. S: Good morning, Miss Li. T: Before the class, I want to do a magic trick. Please look carefully.
Is there anything in my hands? S: No. T: (教师双手重合,偷偷从袖子里抽出一个塑料袋)Look, what’s this? (出示一个里面没有空气的四壁贴合在一起的塑料袋) S: It’s a plastic bag.
T: Yes, Can you see anything in it?
S: No.
T: Now, look. (老师把塑料袋的口打开,在空中兜一圈,然后扎住袋口,这时塑料袋已经鼓鼓的装满了空气) Touch it, (让学生用手挤压一下塑料袋,便会感觉到它是有弹性的)。How does it feel? S: It’s soft.(如果学生回答hard,老师要说:It’s bouncy(并同时用手做压缩的动作表现出有弹性的动作),not hard. T:What’s in it? S: Air

S: There is a man. There is a stone. T: Something like that. It’s a brick. (出示brick 的音标,请同学们跟读单词)
What is a brick? Can you read it? (出示brick的英文解释,请同学们读一读) 设计意图: 猜测游戏活不但跃了课堂气氛,拉近了师生的距离,而且很自然地进入到本课的主要话题。

Step2. Reading comprehension 1)
T: This brick is very special. We can’t use it to make a wall. Because it is the only one brick in the world. Do you know why?
S: ... T: Let’s have a look. (出示有关雾霾砖头制作过程的小短文) Who can read it? T: Please look at the picture, this is a ...? (出示factory 的音标,学生跟读仿读)
Look at this picture. These are ...? (factories) T: Now here I have three questions. Please read in groups and then tell me the answer. (学生以小组的形式讨论问题并回答)

这部分学生们通过阅读雾霾砖头的小短文,以小组讨论的方式探究其制作过程,进而探究引起空气变脏的原因,进一步贴近本节课的主题。

S: ... (出示句子) 设计意图:这部分目的在于让学生学会寻找复杂句式中的主语,并注意第三人称单数的使用,从而达到主谓一致。

设计意图:
这部分通过学生两人一组的对话形式围绕着... makes the air ...句型进一步讨论空气变脏的原因,并适当拓展一些与空气污染的新单词。

Step3 Presentation 1)出示课件,提出问题

Who can have a try? T: Please look at the picture, in picture 2, Kitty is happy. But in picture 1, she looks very sad. Let’s go and see:

Now let’s read the dialogue. 设计意图:让学生们带着问题感知课文,更有助于对文章主题的理解。
2)播放教学光盘,学生认真听一遍并跟读一遍,然后回答问题。

设计意图: 进一步为学生创设真实的语言环境,让他们在生活中使用语言,训练他们的表达能力,这样的活动促使学生在实践活动中运用所学英语,增强对所学英语的体验。并让他们在实践中认识到环保要从小事做起,从自我做起。
Step7 A little poem
T: Please let me end this class with a little poem. Let’s read together. Don’t let our tear become the last drop of water on the earth. Don’t let our sigh become the last mouthful of air in the world. 设计意图:
通过小诗的朗读,让学生感受大自然的清新,从而体会大气环境对我们生活的重要。也为本节课做一个完美的收尾。
