The teacher shows a picture of a park and says, “I’m going to

visit the park at the weekend. What am I going to do in the

park?”

The teacher goes on showing some pictures and presents some sentences: ①．I am going to watch birds by the lake. ②. I am going to have a picnic by the lake. ③．I am going boating in the lake. The present continuous tense of “go, come, move, leave”and some other words that express

movement can take place of their simple future tense. I suggest this usage can be demonstrated later but not in this class even though

it is only a sample sentence. Here’s a possible version:

I’m going to take some photos. 3.

4. 在表示即将发生某事时，两者区别意义不大，多可互换。

一般说来，be going to 表示较近的将来，而will 则表示较远的将来。试比较：

There will be a strong wind in a few days. 几天后将有一场大风。

5. 表示不受人的主观意愿影响的单纯将来，

一般只能用will结构

6. 在正式的通知（如新闻媒体公布的官方消息，气象预报等）中用will结构。
