Module8 Unit2 I made a kite.

一、教学目标:

1、 Knowledge aims:

a. Students can understand, read, speak and write the words :

drew,painted cut, put and could.

b. Students can read, speak and understand the words:

strings, sticks, a piece of and scissors.

c. Students can use past tense to express how they made a thing. 2、Ability aims:

a. Students can express the things they need for making a thing.

b. Students can express how they made a thing step by step.

3、Moral aims:

a. Students enjoy the beautiful pieces of paper-cut and the things made

by paper.

b. Students try to think in different ways and be creative.

二、学情分析:五年级的学生已经学了两年多的英语,有一定的基础知识,对英语有一定的兴趣,但随着知识难度的增加,学生学起来较吃力,需要直观形象的知识点多次呈现,同时需要各种有趣的学习方式保持学习的积极性。

三、教学重、难点:

1. 重点:重点掌握4个四会单词。用英语描述制作风筝的过程。

2. 难点:几个动词的过去式,了解词语:sticks 和 strings 的意思

四、教学步骤

Step1: warm-up

(1)Greetings

(2)Divide the Ss into four groups. Let’s have a competition.

Step 2 Lead-in and Presentation

1.新词呈现:

T: Boys and girls, Do you like flying a kite? But this kite is too small. Let’s make a kite. OK?Now today we’ll learn Module 8 Unit 2 I made a kite. Read the title follow me.

2.T: Though we want to make a kite, what materials do we need? You may say it in Chinese. Students may say “纸,木棍,线,剪刀”

T: Boys and girls, I have so much colorful paper. Look, a piece of red paper, a piece of yellow paper, and引导学生答a piece of green paper,接着板书a piece of 并学习,然后让学生利用自己手中的彩纸来练习a piece of yellow/red/green paper等等。

Then Teacher may take out the real objects from the bag. Then teach the new words: string, sticks,scissors.

3. 进入文本

T: The materials are ready. Now let’s make our kite.

Do you know how to make a kite? Let’sask Daming.He made a kite yesterday. Then show the PPT.

a)Watch and answer:What kite did Daming make?

b)Watch and answer:How many steps(步骤) to make a kite?

Step 1)draw a dragon.然后老师拿起准备好的图画(在一张黄色纸上画着一条龙)进行如下对话:

T: Look, I drew a dragon on a piece of yellow paper.(板书句子并领读。) T: What should we do next? S: Paint it.

Step 2)Paint it.

Teacher paint the dragon and write the sentence on the Bb. 学生说以下的步骤,老师做动作并板书。

I drew a dragon on a piece of paper. I painted it. I cut the paper. I put sticks on it. I tied strings to it. Then I could fly my kite.

c)教师播放课文动画,学生逐句跟读。(提醒学生注意模仿录音中语音、语调)

Step 3: Practice

1.Match the pictures in correct orders.

2.Students practice in groups. Then ask them retell.

3.Let’s chant.

Step 4: Consolidation and extention

1.Look and say.

(1)Look, What’s this? It’s a kite.And it’s a piece of paper-cut. Lingling made it yesterday.

(2) 同桌间一起描述玲玲做剪纸的步骤。

(3) 教师挑4名学生起来描述玲玲做剪纸的步骤。

2.(1) 教师在课件上出示各种书签的图片。

(2)学生动手制作自己的书签。

(3)成果展示并说出制作书签的步骤。

Step 5: Summary

1、教师引导学生总结本课所学的词汇和句型,鼓励学生提出问题。

2、渗透德育意识。

3、教师点评各组学生的表现。

Step6: Homework

Mother’sDay is coming.Make a card for your mother.Then write how you made it. (母亲节即将来临,为你的妈妈制作一张贺卡,然后用英语写出制作过程)
