一、

教材研读：

本模块以Highlights of My Senior Year为话题，介绍了美国中学生的学校生活，描述了他们的学校俱乐部以及从事的课外活动，学生通过本模块学习，可了解其他国家中学生的学习生活情况，进行中美学校文化的对比，并学会描写自己高中的生活。

Introduction 部分首先通过表格的形式介绍了美国中学的学制、学习年限和学生年龄等情况，然后通过问答的方式引导学生对比中美学生生活的差异，为阅读部分的学习做好知识背景的铺垫。

Reading and Vocabulary (1) 部分介绍了一位美国中学生的高中生活，要求学生学习相关的词汇，培养略读和查读的能力，回答问题，就阅读内容展开讨论。

二、

学情分析：

此次我授课的对象是籍田中学高2016届10班，属于我们学校

C层次班级，学生英语基础参差不齐，有点两极分化，部分学生的英语基础相对薄弱，有一定厌学情绪。所以培养他们学习英语的兴趣，降低学习难度，提高信心，扶优辅差，固强补弱才是关键。

教学目标：

1. 学生能够根据自身经历并结合图表图片对中美中学学制进行比较并掌握相应词汇的用法。

2. 学生能够运用skimming阅读策略把握文章梗概。

3. 学生能够运用scanning阅读策略把握文章的细节，并积累相应词汇。

四、

教学重难点：

1. 怎样用相应词汇比较中美中学学制的差异。

2. 怎样运用相应词汇回答问题并就阅读内容展开讨论。

五、

教学方法：

1. 通过问题和图片吸引学生的注意并激发他们的好奇心。

2. 限时阅读，通过做相应练习了解文章内容和掌握相应词汇。

利用快速阅读练习查读和扫读的阅读策略，迅速定位题目要求的特定信息，了解了故事的梗概。用true or false questions的形式降低了难度，让学生树立一定信心。

阅读策略训练：

培养学生阅读及查读能力，通过选择题的形式与高考阅读理解题挂钩。

培养学生仔细阅读获取细节信息的能力（查读）。
