Lesson 8 First, Second，Third 一、教学目标

1．知识目标

⑴词汇：掌握词汇：

认知词汇：race, first, second, third ⑵短语：

⑶句型：Li Ming is the first.

The girl is the second.

The boy in red shorts is the third. 2. 能力目标

在情境中灵活地运用本课时所学的序数词。

3．情感目标

培养学生的英语兴趣和对英语的喜爱。

二、教学重难点

正确运用序数词。

三、教学过程

1．巧设情景，激趣引思

（1）Greeting

(2) Sing a song. (唱Twelve months. 歌曲

来复习上节课所学的十二个月份)。

(3) Lead-in

教师让学生从一数到十二，然后教师再引导学生来按次序数，第一、第二、第三……. Come to the new lesson 8 First, Second, Third. 2.

自主互动，探究新知

New concepts: Show a picture. (出示图片，问答) T: How many pupils are there in the picture?

Ss: Three. T: Who is he?

Ss: He is Li Ming. T: Who is the first?

Ss: Li Ming is the first. T: Who is the second?

Ss: The girl is the second.

T: Who is the third?

Ss: The boy in red shorts is the third. (教师用卡片教授新单词，并领读)

(2). 让学生小组讨论序数词并观察规律。老师把口决给学生总结出来。

（3）Practice. 让学生抽出卡片，将卡片上对应的序数词说出来。（如：one-first.）

(4). Listen to the tape and read after .

3．应用拓展，反思交流

Ask them to do the part 2. Let’s do it.

让学生连线并仿照例句造句。

January is the first month.

February is the second month.
