一、说教材分析：

本节课是冀教版小学英语教材第六册《Lesson 5 What Are They Doing？》。本单元将围绕Li Ming、Jenny和Danny在火车上的故事展开。本课的主要内容是讲述Li Ming 、Jenny和Danny在火车上他们正在做什么的语篇教学的文本。要求学生学完本课后，能够就旅行这个话题进行对话，并且能够用英语介绍北京。

二、说学情分析：

本节课的授课对象是小学五年级的学生，他们想象力丰富，并且有一定的英语口语表达能力，喜欢把所学内容用于交际，渴望得到他人特别是老师的肯定。学生对于旅游这个话题比较感兴趣，我们要善于抓住学生对旅游的兴趣和热情，尽量创设真实的情境，让学生在语境中活学活用。

Step2. Leading-in and listen Show some pictures to the class by ppt.(幻灯片)and present the sentences: What is he doing? He is running./ What is she doing? She is singing./ What are they doing? They’re playing.
