Lesson 5 where is Danny?

学情分析:

经过一年多的学习,四年级的学生已经掌握了一些基本的英语词汇,特别是经过三年级下册及本单元第三课的语言学习,学生已经接触并掌握了一些方位介词,为本课的学习做好了铺垫。

教学目标:

知识目标1. 学生能听懂,会说,认读并书写下列词汇: behind,he,she

2.学生能认读,理解并运用下列基本的句型结构: Where is he/she? He / she is …

3.学生能了解字母组合ea和oo在单词中的发音及规律。

能力目标:通过师生,学生间的语言互动,理解描述事物所处位置的句型,并熟练对话。

情感目标:能够理解文本,感受真实语言交际中灵活运用英语所带来的乐趣。

教学重难点:

重点:1.学生能听懂,会说,认读并书写下列词汇:behind, he, she

2.学生能认读,理解并运用下列基本的句型结构:

Where is he/she? He / she is …

难点:1.初步会用方位介词表达位置

2.了解字母组合ea和oo在单词中的发音及规律。

教学准备:多媒体,词汇卡,玩偶

教学过程:

Step1. warm-up

1.Greeting.

Hello,every one. Nice to meet you. How are you?

2.Revision:

出示数字图片,利用How many… are there? There are…提问.(复习上一节课的内容)

Step 2: Presentation and practice

1.In front of ,behind

1)呈现情景,引入新词。

利用实物(玩偶Danny和盒子),通过变换他们的位置,复习方位介词on,in,under,between,beside. 分别把玩偶放在盒子前面和后面,教授新词in front of , behind.

2)展示课本第一部分图片:

T asks : where is Li Ming? 鼓励学生们积极回答:Li Ming is in front of the tree. Li Ming is behind the tree.

3)播放录音学生跟读。

4)Play a game .

三个同学一组前后站成一对.

The first says :I am in front of…the second says : I am between …and …. The third says : I am behind ….

2.Where is Danny?

1)T : we can not find Danny and Jenny .where is Danny? Where is Jenny?

出示第二部分图片,提出问题,小组讨论回答问题. 图一:

Where is Danny ?

What is he doing?

图二:

Where is Jenny?

What are they doing?

2) 小组讨论问题.

3)教师出示答案,学生核对并朗读课文。

Step3 Practice.

1)教师出示let’s do it! 的图片。

One student asks: where is Danny?

The other answers: he is in…

(练习方位介词in,on ,beside,behind,between,in front of)

2)仿写练习。

Step4 Letters and Sounds

1)整体呈现,学生尝试读单词。

让学生体会字母组合ea和oo,在不同单词中的发音。学生小组讨论总结规律,根据语音规律认读单词。

播放录音,学生跟读。

2) 利用词汇卡,出示sea,thread,moon,wood 这四个单词的卡片,让学生尝试读出这些单词。
