教学分析

1、学情分析

小学四年级大部分学生比较感兴趣,有一定的模仿能力,对一些游戏、直观图片比较感兴趣,而且能大胆地开口,乐于学用到的英语与他人交往。我班学生在三年级基础差。从四年级接手这个班以来,学生成长进步很快,英语学习兴趣越来越大,能力也越来越强。

2、教材分析

本节课是冀教版义务教育教科书小学英语四年级下册第三单元的第4课时,题目How do you go to school?在本课中,Danny和Jenny、Kim、Steven在讨论他们的上学方式,本节课主要学习by+交通工具,单词drive,ride a bike, walk与句型How do you go to school?I go to school by…是本课的重点。

教学目标

1、知识与技能目标

(1)学生能够听懂、会说、认读和书写单词: foot,on foot, by.

(2)学生能够认读、理解并运用下列句子: How do you go to school?

I go to school by bus.

Do you walk to school?

2、情感与态度目标

关注学生的喜好、需求,营造宽松、民主、和谐的课堂氛围,通过多样化的活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,调动他们的积极性,使学生在课堂中不断体验成功,感受乐趣,树立自信心,发展学生综合运用语言的能力。

I go to school by bus.

教学过程

Step 1 Warm up (5 minutes)

1.Greeting(日常用语对话,在授课开始用英语和同学们问好,拉近师生的距离,营造英语氛围。)

2.Reading time

T: Now, it’s our reading time. Who’s on duty today?

S1: Lesson15 Where do you live? One, two!

3. Asking and answer time

T: Which line want to try?

(找两列同学来进行对话)

【设计意图】:通过常规活动Free Talk,Reading and Talking等形式,将学生脑海中围绕“我”的话题对于进行输出,不断复习旧知,也给新课文的出现埋下伏笔并为新授环节打下基础。

Step 2 Leading in (5 minutes)

1. Let’s sing a song

(教师播放How do you go to school?音频,学生跟着音乐演唱。)

T: Now, let’s play a game “Read and Judge”. Say “ Yeah, Yeah, Yeah” if you think it’s true. Say “No, No, No” if you think it’s false.

【设计意图】:通过相同话题歌曲的演唱为本节课的学习奠定基础。同时游戏环节不仅帮同学们回忆本单元前几课的知识点,同时也为引导出新的话题“How do I go to school?”. 两个环节都为了调动学生学习的积极性,让学生置身于熟悉的

英语环境中。

Step 3 Presentation (15 minutes)

New concepts

1.句型新授

T: Do you want to know more about me ? Can you guess “how do I go to school?” S1: You go to school by bus.

S2: You go to school by bike.

S3: You go to school by taxi.

S4:You go to school by car.

S5: You go to school on foot.

T: I live farm from school. So how do I go to school?

S1: You go to school by car.

T:I drive to school.(教师板书并领读两遍)

T:Do you drive to school? How do you go to school?

S1: I go to school on foot.

T: You live near the school. So you walk to school.(教师板书并领读两遍)

T:How do you go to school?( 教师连续问几名学生,知道有同学说出I go to school by bike.)

T: You ride a bike to school.(教师板书并领读两遍)

【设计意图】结合四年级学过的知识和现有教材,运用生动的语言动作,引导学生学习动词drive,ride,walk,使学生及时掌握所学知识。

2.Practice

T: Interview your group members “How do you go to school?” and fill in the chart.

T: Now, which group want to try? Act and show.

Ss: How do you go to school?(全体学生提问,小组轮流展示动作并回答)

【设计意图】通过小组交流探讨,让学生将所学句型运用到口语之中,加强小组合作意识,巩固所学知识。展示环节锻炼孩子们的胆量,让他们敢于开口讲英语,体会到英语学习的乐趣。

3.Listen,read and match

T: Do you know how does Danny go to school? Let’s listen and read. Then you should match them with the transportations.

【设计意图】结合现有教材,运用生动的语言,引导学生分析教材,读并寻找问题答案,让学生带着目的用英语做事情使学生及时将所学知识能够达到充分运用。

4. Practice

T: Now, let’s have a role play. I am Danny. One group is Jenny, One group is Kim, one group is Steven.

T: Now work in four and have the role play.

【设计意图】回归文本,让学生对所学重点在头脑中进行总结并沉淀,学生可以自主选择自己喜欢的角色,创造以学生为主体的自主学习氛围。

Step 4 Extension (15 minutes)

1.Make a dialogue with your partner.

T: International workers’ Day is coming. Do you want to go out to play? Where do you want to go? How do you go there?(教师先和一名学生进行交流,为其他同学进行示范。)

T:Now,work in two. Make a dialogue and talk about where do you want to go?How

do you go there?

【设计意图】结合即将到来的五一节日,学生们利用所学知识讨论出行计划和出行交通工具。不仅结合教材知识更高于教材知识。学生新旧知识灵活运用,把知识转化成内在的能力。

2. Write back to Baymax

T: Look, we have an E-mail. Let’s see who send it to us. Oh , it’s Baymax. (教师模仿大白配乐朗读大白的介绍)Now, let’s write it back soon.

Hello, everyone. My name is Baymax, I am three years old, I am 2.6 metres tall, I go to school on foot. It is near. I love my school.

I like traveling, too. I like to go to the park. (学生模仿大白的自我介绍写出自己的自我介绍并展示)

【设计意图】:学生通过操练不断扎实“我”话题的运用操练,再次夯实知识点,并且由口头落实到笔端。学生通过配乐朗读,培养学生欣赏英语的音调美,提高学生学习兴趣。

Step 5Homework (1 minute)

【设计意图】:通过小来完成课后作业,让学生积极完成作业,把重点知识的学习延伸到课堂之外
