一、课题：新教材6B Unit 8 Our dreams 第一课时

Story time。

二、教材简解：

本单元的话题是“我的梦想”，旨在通过此话题的讨论，引导学生树立正确的价值观，心怀梦想并为实现自己的梦想而努力奋斗。本单元的重点词汇是和职业相关，本届六年级学生以前学英语所用的是《牛津小学英语》，他们在四年级下册便学习了职业类单词。本课，教师可以以旧引新，通过职业类单词的复习，引出本课的四个新词。本课是第一教时，教学Story time，这一部分，是李老师和学生们一起畅谈他们的梦想。孩子们各抒己见，畅所欲言，表到了对美好未来的向往。对话由三部分组成，第一、二段话，是男生和女生分别介绍他们的梦想。第三段是李老师说出了自己的梦想。本单元的重点句型是want to be结构，对于学生来说，难度不大。因此，本部分作为第一教时教授，可操作性强。在教学过程中我考虑学生的年龄特点，充分利用多媒体课件、图片等手段，运用形象化的语言，使教学内容更加贴近学生的生活，激发学生的学习兴趣，提高学生参与语言活动的积极性。本课，我着重从培养学生对语篇的整体理解与感悟出发，注重细节的设计，在教学中将重点、难点巧妙地分散，层层渗透。学生在学习和合作中阅读语篇，理解语篇，掌握语篇。

三、目标预设：

语言知识目标：

1、学生能掌握单词和词组：our dreams, want to be, a dentist, care about, an astronaut, a spaceship, the World Cup, a dancer, in the future, a writer, a pianist, a football player, come true。

2、能听、说、读、写句型：What do you want to be in the future? I want to be…

3、能正确理解、掌握文本，并能有感情地朗读、表演文本。

学习技能目标：

能运用英语描述自己的梦想，培养学生灵活运用所学知识进行交流的能力。

情感态度目标：

1、培养学生评价他人、评价自己的能力和美德。

2、培养学生小组合作学习的能力。

四、教学重点和教学难点：

教学重点：

1、学生能掌握单词和词组：our dreams, want to be, a dentist, care about, an astronaut, a spaceship, the World Cup, a dancer, in the future, a writer, a pianist, a football player, come true。

2、能听、说、读、写句型：What do you want to be in the future? I want to be…

教学难点：

1、能正确理解、掌握文本，并能有感情地朗读、表演文本。

2、能运用英语描述自己的梦想。

五、教学过程：

Step1: Warming up 1. Greetings. 2. Enjoy a song: I’m a little teacher. 3. Ask: (1) What is his job in the song?

(2) What is your job?

(3) What is my job? 4. Review the words about ‘Jobs’. (1) Let students say out the words, the teacher writes out the words. (2) Read the words together. Step2: Presentation 1. Show the pictures, then teach the new words: a football, a dancer, a pianist and an astronaut. 2. T: We know so many jobs, and what you want to be in the future. This lesson, let’s talk about our dreams. 3. Teach the title: Unit8 Our dreams. 4. Show the picture of Bobby in Unit7 Cartoon time, ask: What does Bobby want to be?

( He wants to be a traveler. ) 5. Teach: What do you want to be in the future? -----I want to be a/an…

Let students work in pairs, and make some dialogues. 6. T: Oh, I know your dreams, and they are talking about their dreams too. 7. Show the pictures of Story time , look and say:

8. Watch the cartoon and match：What do they want to be in the future?(书本80页作业)

10. Let students read by themselves, underline the answers. Questions: What do they want to do? Or Why do they have the dreams? 11.Check the answers. Liu Tao: I want to play in the World Cup. Mike: I want to take care of children’s teeth.

Wang Bing: I want to fly a spaceship to the Moon. Su Hai: Dancing makes people healthy and beautiful. Nancy: I want to write stories for children. Yang Ling: Music makes people happy. 12. Do the exercise: Think and write.

13. Check the answers. 14. T: We know the students’ dreams, and what Miss Li’s dream is. Q: What is Miss Li’s dream?
